I don't think it makes a dent in the whole pregnancy/childbirth thing, though...

I think it is because sexually abstinent people run it, so they have a negaqtive view about sex.

and BTW, men can have multiples too. God only punishes SOME men by giving them only one orgasm at a time.

Protestan clergy and i think anglican clergy, and jewish "clergy" for sure, can marry and have sex.

But yeah, this really is streching to the half-full mark.

Sex is the most wonderful gift God ever gave to Christians.

Dude, I hate to rain on this guy's parade, but if God "gave" sex at all, he gave it to everybody, not just Christians. Or do Jesus's followers have some doohickey down there that the rest of us don't know about?

Jews take sex pretty seriously, particularly sexual satisfaction. Not sure if it's still true everywhere, but for some groups a man isn't really a man if he can't get his wife off. (I'd cite references if I had any, but I'm way too lazy to go digging that stuff up.) And while Buddhist monks abstain from sex, they think that everyone else should go and enjoy it thoroughly, just not let it run their lives. It's mostly just Christians and Muslims who have that puritanical streak.
