Sorry, weddings are not fundraisers. They are to celebrate the marriage of the couple. If the guests want to bring gifts, wonderful. It is not acceptable to shake them down for cash, even for the most worthy cause in the world, although I do believe the jilted bride was trying to do a good thing.
