    Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics

    As others have mentioned, equating correlation with causation is specious. This is a totally amateur mistake for researchers to make and for the media to propagate, considering that it's pretty much the first lesson you learn in Statistics 101. I'm not a fan of sexually degrading music, but I can't take statistically-unsound studies seriously.
