More troubling news about "crisis" pregnancy centers

Investigators who called federally funded pregnancy resource centers were given false information about the health risks of abortion.

charges should be brought up...

for bait and switch (when they say they provide abortion services but don't) and impersonating a medical professional (for the false information).

Then, as part of their probation, they should have to peform some sort of childcare.

Faith-based support, as long as they're unborn

So Dubya and his neocon cronies are using this faith-based crap to ram scientifically inaccurate information down people's throats and push their own agenda. And yet, all this support for fetuses somehow dries up once the babies are born and need welfare. Hmmm...

In other words

The pregnancy crisis centers are disseminating the same misinformation that the government approves for high-school sexual education courses. What else is new? At least adolescents won't have their minds boggled with inconsistencies. They can raise the children they were lied into giving birth to in a state of complete certitude, which is the way all weighty decisions (like the one that got us into the "war on terror") should be undertaken, right?
