Which parent gets to decide on circumcision?
That's the question as posed on Broadsheet.
And the answer to that exact question, posed just like that, has to be "the kid's father". And the answer he comes up with to the question about circumcision had better well be No Way!
Sorry, there's almost never really a reason for it. It's just not OK.
Sorry, Jews, Muslims, it's not OK to mutilate your little boy in the name of some stupid old custom. You presumably aren't wandering the desert anymore, there just isn't a reason. Use the brains god gave you, for fuck's sake!

Really, both parents should decide, and they should come up with the answer not to perform genital mutilation on their child! Why is that so difficult?
