1. what on earth did the statement "angelina learns fast" mean? she didn't nab brad from jennifer because she was willing to get pregnant and jennifer wasn't. that was a really nasty potshot at jolie, making her out to be this desperate manstealer. and aniston actually wanted to have kids--she refused because she suspected pitt of cheating.

2. brad left her for someone younger, more beautiful, more magnetic, and more interesting. if it was all about a willing uterus, he would have left aniston long long ago--many many many women want to have his kids.

3. pitt is actually the one making more concessions in this relationship--the post is implying that angelina has somehow changed herself just to land pitt, which is so far from the truth. aside from her pregnancy, it was pitt who has been bending over backwards to be with jolie. he followed her around the world, got viral meningitis, is adopting her children the difficult way, has renovated his homes for her kids, has played housedad while she worked, has followed her to haiti (he let her do almost all the talking and was always walking 2 to 3 steps behind her--like the way empress masako of japan was instructed to)...what more do women want from jolie? it is clear that pitt is equally besotted, if not more so.

4. i am a feminist and i normally enjoy broadsheet, but this potshot is just too much. just because jolie is beautiful, magnetic, and a female stud doesn't mean that she is some bimbo who will do anything to keep a man. aniston did not lose out to some pliant uberdomesticated woman--she lost her man to a globe-trotting enigma of a human being who is sexy to men and women alike. basically, aniston got run over by a mack truck.

5. this post makes women look catty and stupid. the author (sarah k) needs to grow up. this isn't high school any more.

6. i hope the baby looks more like angelina.

It's funny how reading about Baby "Brangelina" could turn into this but, I read something that totally infuriated me and so here is what I think of open mindedness...

How can you claim to be open minded and yet have such a one sided view on what it means to be a parent? Yes there are sacrifices you make once you have a child but who cares? The things you give up are more then compensated for by having the unconditional love of a child.

People like you make me laugh! So what you live in NYC. Unlike you I didnt just land there I grew up born and bread A NYC girl and let me tell you something, that doesn't make me love children anyless. Maybe your problem with your friends who are married and have children is that you are so busy trying to impress people with your carefree life style and your vacations to France and it bothers you that these people who are parents could care less about things like that because they see whats important in life.

As far as children stunting creativity that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The mind of a child can think of things that we as adults on our own could not fathum. Their wide eyed innocense and unquechable thirst for knowledge is enough to inspire any one.

I sincerely hope that since you so look down on children you never plan to procreate yourself because boy do I feel sorry for the child who has the misfortune of calling you Mother!!

I'm glad someone else pointed out how ridiculous it is to think Angelina Jolie is an earth-mother type -- just because that's what her publicists want you to think. So she adopted two kids from third-world countries? So what? Many celebrity "Mommie Dearest" types have gone the adoption route; it's an easy way to get publicity and the brigade of nurses and nannies are the ones who wipe their snotty noses, change their dirty diapers, and attend to all the other aspects of childcare. And now AJ has become pregnant through her latest adultery? So what? Any two flatworms can reproduce. And, again, it will be the hired help that does all the work while Angelina basks in the glory.
