Anybody else reel in shock at the proposed South Dakota law that would force women seeking abortions to watch an ultrasound of the fetus? While we're at it, why don't we make women who press rape charges must watch a video of the accused's mother sobbing? That would really keep those girls in check.
But seriously, ladies: radical antiabortion activists are willing to terrify and hurt you in order to make their point. And prolifers (many of whom are more sane and compassionate than the South Dakota legislature): did you raise your daughters to think for themselves? Or did you raise them to need laws and lynch mobs to regulate their sex lives for them? If you love your daughters, trust them with choice. Don't sic the mob on them.

Not worth being murdered for, is what you meant to say.
it seems like it should be but it isn't, it's based on equal protection.
Roe V Wade as I understand it said that most laws against abortion violate a constitutional right to privacy, overturning all state laws outlawing or restricting abortion. So the immediate direct effect of an overturn would not be to outlaw abortion in any state - I think each state would have to enact laws to make abortion illegal, or perhaps revive laws on the books.
>>physical dangers of abortion>>
WRONG
Study after study shows that carrying a fetus full term is far more dangerous than an abortion. The chances of injury, complications, and death are far greater if a woman chooses to carry the fetus full term than if she chooses an abortion.
