    Hairlessness

My boyfriend has commented before about the strange absence of pubic hair on Playboy centerfolds. The most you ever see is a little "Hitler moustache" or "landing strip". What's the deal with that? Seriously--I think the lack of hair on these women make their genitalia look strangely unreal--not like little girls (which I guess is the idea) but more like Barbie dolls.

Do a lot of women do this? I personally couldn't be bothered, but is nearly total removal of pubic hair the new normal?
