Uncut men are better in bed. They're also more emotionally involved and physically sensitive and expressive. I've had both.
Darn you, G-d!
As an orthodox Jewish woman, it is me and my husband's duty to have our future son(s) circumcised, but I don't feel comfortable with doing it when he's 8 days old . . . it just isn't fair. So, we plan to follow an older tradition and allow him to decide if he wants to be circumcised at age 13, when he has his bar mitzvah. After he reads all about it, he can weigh the options and make his own decision.
This article defines how sick American society is. Men and boys ARE meant to have a foreskin! It doesn't take much recognize that circumcision is sexual violence. America's little boys deserve respect and protection of their human rights. Circumcision is the sickest, stupidest idea I've ever heard of.

Sure, he may cry, but not as hard as he would if the "doctor" was cutting off part of his penis. Many years after the "doctor" is done with him, he'd find out what Mommy consented to without his permission and cry even more. I know from personal experience. I'm missing part of my penis and I know I'd never willing let someone cut part of it off.
If you like circumcision and think its great, you'd find good company in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and portions of Africa, among other places. They also circumcise their little girls. The United States is the only First World country to push this barbarism on our little boys. Europe, Japan, and our neighors, Mexico, and Canada, among other places, don't cut their boys.
Why do docs still do it, even if the AAP says its not necessary? They like to make money and pray on the ignorance of people, like the author, who think circumcision is the way to go.
Sad that there are people like the author around. So closed minded about the natural state of the human body. Fortunately, more and more parents are realizing that the doc just wants money. Rates in the United States are down to 55% cut, 45% intact. Don't be ignorant. Read about circumcision before its too late. Your sons will either thank you for not cutting them up or curse you for not respecting them and their bodies.
Obligatory addressing of some myths:
Cervical cancer is caused by HPV, not intact penises. Look for an HPV vaccine in then near future.
Penile cancer is a disease of old men and can be cured without circumcision. Breast cancer in men is more common than penile cancer.
Soap and water cleans penises.
Most American women who claim to prefer circed penises have never seen or experienced an intact penis.
Boys never compare penises in the locker room, ever.
Boys and their fathers never compare penises, either.
Most penile infections are caused by premature retraction of the child's foreskin. Do as the AAP says: Leave it alone.
Urinary tract infections can be cured with antibiotics and don't require surgery.
Condom usage and monogamous relationships are far better at preventing HIV/AIDs than circumcision could ever hope to be.
Circumcision is a surgery, with all the inherent risks. Its not "just a snip."
To the person making light of the bumper sticker:
People who chose to have their sons circumcised are not taking their son's best interest into consideration. For starters, there is absolutely no reason to routinely circumcise an infant. What other normal, healthy, and functional body part is removed on the whim of the owners parents?
For those who don't know, the foreskin is the continuation of the shaft skin past the head of the penis. Circumcising removes 30-50% of this skin. In infants, the skin is tightly adhered to the penis in much the same way the fingernails attach to the fingers. This is because the foreskin is meant to protect the sensitive glans penis against urine and feces. As the child matures his foreskin will naturally loosen.
Many of the reported foreskin problems in times' past have been caused by over-zealous parents forcing back the foreskin in an effort to clean under it. The forcing back breaks the protectiveness of the foreskin and introduces foreign materials under it. The only thing parents need to remember is: Leave it Alone! Parents of infant daughters don't reach into their daughter's vagina to clean, do they? Think of the foreskin in the same way.
Circumcision is a direct cause of impotency in men. The act of circumcising causes nerve damage, plus the constantly exposed head of the penis gradually loses sensitivity over time. The glans penis is supposed to be an internal organ, protected by the foreskin when the man is not aroused. When he is circumcised, the protection is missing, and his glans is left to dry out and lose feeling.
The actual act of circumcising is extremely painful. Even if your son is one of the lucky 5% given adequate painkiller, he will still go through several extremely painful days after the dorsal penile block wears off. (If your son is circumcised using anything besides a dorsal block be warned, he will be in extreme pain.) To circumcise, the doctor (or whomever) inserts a blunt instrument under the foreskin through the small hole (for urine) and breaks the adhesions. This is excruciating, as anyone who has witnessed a circumcision can attest. The rest of the procedure depends on the device used. Basically, the end result is the same. The skin of the penis is ripped prematurely away from the penis, there is a slit cut into it, and it is crushed or ripped away, or in the case of a plastibell left to rot (yes, rot) and fall off in a week to ten days. And no, the plastiball is not painless (as I've heard people say), and does in fact have a higher complication rate than the older gomco clamp.
Regardless, routine infant (in fact, the vast majority of ALL) circumcision is never necessary. Cosmetic surgery on a newborn infant? Yeah, THAT is something to really cry about.

ps.
If anyone emails me, put Circumcision in the subject. I will NOT debate anyone. Circumcision is wrong, and my mind will not be changed. However, if someone has additional questions I will try to help them find resources within reason.
