Should cafes be kid-free?

Next time you bring your baby to Sunday brunch, make sure he or she uses an "inside voice."

    Sure, why not?

I've taught my three children to behave in public. (It's easy. When they misbehave, you pack everyone up and go home. Then you tell them, "We had to go home because you couldn't behave." You don't have to do it more than twice with the first kid. After that, they enforce the lesson with each other.)

However, I do believe that restaurant owners plagued by troublesome children should have the right to make their establishments child-free.

It'll be awesome when we go even farther than that, and I have my choice of restaurants and cafes that are loud-talking-adult-free, aisle-blocking-adult-free, and poor-parking-adult-free, too.
