Original article: Who is Sarah Palin?

An appalling pick - she will withdraw within a week

This is an appalling choice, and she will withdraw within the week, I predict.

Sarah Palin appears to be the Vice Presidential nominee for the Party of Family Values, the Party of Family first, the Party of take care of your children.

The reason is simple: This decision is a total contra-family values decision.

On April 18, 2008, Sarah Palin gave birth to a child with Down's syndrome. This is, for some, a moment to affirm their family values credentials. Other families are greatly affected by the presence of such a child. The Down's child is VERY DEMANDING time-wise.

Here is a comment from a publication from a family physician about children with this condition:

The care of the infant or young child with Down syndrome can be complicated and may involve a myriad of immediate and long-term medical problems and psychosocial issues.

The quote is taken from "Primary Care of Infants and Young Children with Down Syndrome", by REBECCA B. SAENZ, M.D., published in American Family Physician, 1999.

URL: http://www.aafp.org/afp/990115ap/381.html

Another quote:

The psychologic benefit derived from the bonding of mother and infant can be extremely important at a time when, because of the infant's disability, the mother may be questioning her own adequacy.

Does Family Values mean ANYTHING to the Party of Values? If it means anything, it means TAKING CARE OF YOUR FAMILY. It is clear that Sarah Palin has decided that her own naked ambition and lust for the power of the Vice President have led her to consign this child to the dustbin. What kind of family values are those?

Original article: Who is Sarah Palin?

The stupidest and most idiotic choice in history

This woman is going to rewrite the definition for "lightweight". She's a bimbo.

But I look forward to the many times

her bikini pictures for when she was a beauty queen printed.

I wonder if she will do the VP debate in the bathing suit or the evening gown?

Original article: Handicapping Palin pick

The problem of being a maverick

John McCain has had a problem lately. His "maverick" brand is really limping. It's clear that he's about as much of a "maverick" as Hillary Clinton - he votes with his party a whole bunch (like 90+ %). So what to do?

Do something OUT OF THE BOX and say "See?? I am a maverick".

That's what he did. That's the whole point here. The pick is a "maverick" pick but it is also REALLY REALLY CONVENTIONAL, since this bimbette is pretty much right at the core of the Family Values Wacko part of the GOP.

So, McCain thinks it's a two-fer - it's mavericky, and it's conventional in a mavericky way.

But sometimes you can be too clever, and this is one of those cases. Sometimes people are not considered serious picks because they .... are not serious picks.

That's Sarah Palin.

Has Bristol agreed to this fine plan?

Gee, what a happy happy ending. Bristol Palin, the recipient of plenty of that fine abstinence-only education, was apparently working on several approaches to teen sex, including the experimental approach.

So, now, Mommy Sarah has explained to Bristol that, for some pretty important reasons, LIKE MOMMY'S CAREER, Bristol was gonna need to get married TOOT SWEET.

Did Bristol agree to this little plan? What about the sperm donor? Has he agreed to the fine idea of teen-age daddy-hood?

Or is this just child abuse in another way?

Remember, when you become pregnant, you are emancipated, and you make your own decisions.

Let's play "I'm Sarah Palin"

John McCain asks me to be VP. Should I agree?

1) i lied in my support for the bridge to nowhere. Should I tell John? NO

2) My child has Down's. Should i run for VP? YEESSSSSS YSSSESSS YESSSSSYYSSSS YSSSSS

3) My 17 year old, who I haven't seen for 6 months, appears to be pregnant? Should I tell John? NO Should i run for VP? YYEYEYYSYYS YESSSS YESSSS

4) I joined a treasonous party which advocates independence for Alaska . Should I tell John? NO Should I run for VP? YYEYYSYSYYSYS YEYYSSS ES YESS YESSS YESSSS OH GOD YESSSS

Back to myself....

What kind of monstrously incompetent mother would run ror VP with this SHITLOAD OF SHIT over her head, knowing that she was going to run into a FIRESTORM OF SHIT?

She knew all this, and STILL CHOSE TO RUN.

She is a monstrously incompetent MOTHER. She is possibly the least qualified person in AMERICA to be POTUS.

AND JOHN MCCAIN CHOSE HER!

A private matter? NO

"Barack is right. It should be a private matter. But because the GOP is in thrall to the Christian Right, it will not be. Too bad for Bristol."

Well, that's the politically correct thing to say, and Obama needed to say it.

However, he is wrong, although he can't say that.

1) She knew the kid was knocked up, due to her negligence in supervision of this daughter, WHO GOT PREGNANT AT 17.

2) She concealed that from McCain.

3) Her lust for power is so strong that she has decided to sacrifice her daughter on the alter of political heat to get the VP.

This story is relevant because it demonstrates that this woman has such a monstrous lust for power that she is disqualified from the office.

@amerigo

"It sounds like it would have been a good idea for Bristol to have been on the pill, but perhaps she was, but didn't take it, or perhaps she was deliberately in rebellion against her parents and got pregnant on purpose to make her politics-obsesssed mother pay more attention to her. [Wouldn't surprise me.]"

You seem amazingly ignorant of rightwingnut conservaderanged opinion of contraception.

For the more deranged of the wingnuttery, the use of contraception is defacto abortion.

So, under NO circumstances would the Palin family even CONSIDER contraception for this child because 1) it is implicit approval of her fucking like a bunny and 2) it is abortion.

We have no idea

if these kids are in agreement with this shotgun wedding.

If you were a hot-shot young man, the LAST thing you would want to do is to get tied down to some stupid girl who was stupid enough to get preggers. His MySpace page says he is totally uninterested in "having kids".

WHAT DOES LEVI SAY ABOUT HIS UPCOMING WEDDING?
