Original article: We'll go no more a-Rove-ing

The Rove Legacy

will be a presidency of divisive lies, mendacity, and hyper-partisanship far beyond any administration, any time. Rove single-handedly took the goodwill extended by a nation to Bush at the 9/11 time, and just rammed it down the throats of Democrats. Rather than drawing the nation together to make common cause in a time of crisis, he used the time of crisis to damage the Democratic Party.

Rove is the worst presidential advisor who ever had influence in the White House. He far exceeds Mark Hanna, who president was killed which prevented the type of damage that Rove has inflicted.

The usual responses

I always find the same responses.

1) I say "Gay marriage is a BAD issue for Democrats."

Response: You hate gays

2) I say "Gay marriage will not become the case ever or for a long time."

Response: You hate gays

3) I say "Kerry lost the 2004 election partially or almost totally due to gay marriage."

Response: You hate gays.

A POLITICAL statement about gay marriage (Gay marriage will never become the law of the land in the US) has nothing NOTHING to do with my opinions. I have no problem with gay marriage.

I am TOTALLY OPPOSED to it, politically, because it is a TERRIBLE issue for Democrats.

The gay marriage mafia needs to rethink the issue. It is a LOSER issue. If you advocate gay marriage in almost any location in the US, you will lose the election.

Gay marriage is a loser issue. Gay marriage is not going to happen. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Isn't it time?

Isn't it time for politicians who ask for LGBT votes (and campaign contributions) to stop being embarrassed about discussing LGBT issues on their web sites?

Isn't it time for LGBT folks to accept a little political reality, and determine that their demands are not realistic?

The problem is that a large proportion of the population consider LGBT folks not just problematic, but condemned to perdition by almighty gawd. This is not my position, but this is the position of the religious wacks. Asking for more from Dems means costing them the votes of the religious wacks.

More importantly, increases in LGBT votes and issues means loses in Black and Hispanic conservatives. We have, at most, 1-3 % LGBT votes. We have 10 % Black and 12 % Hispanic. You do the math. Electorally, LGBT is a loser position.

And, no, there are NOT 10 % LGBT voters. That is a frequent claim, but it is totally unsupported by any reasonable survey. I might go as high as 5 %, but that's the highest I would ever believe.

The last two letters

speak truth.

Progress is slow. Blacks were freed in 1863. After that, they lived in either segregation or the virtual slavery of "jim crow" until 1963. 100 years from "freedom" to freedom.

For the gays, stonewall happened in 1968. That was 40 years ago. Attitudes have been moderating but remember one thing:

If you are gay, to the christian wack, you are an abomination.

The christian wack will not accept marriage. WILL NOT ACCEPT.

We democrats need to work together. The notion that "all or nothing" or "i'm gonna hold my breathe until I turn blue" works is idiotic.

After all, it may not be you holding your breathe. It may be the hands of the repukelicsum around your necks.

Childish whining

Well, childish whining and holding your breathe until you turn blue will still not get gay marriage. Additionally, electing repukeliscum will not get gay marriage. In 11 states, nothing will get gay marriage, since it is now unconstitutional.

So, Mr. Big Baby Whiner, what are you gonna do about that?

Ungrateful little snot.

What a hoot

Garrison, my family is planning a trip to the BWCA next summer. You are invited, along with the entire PHC group. You will each need to pay your own way, of course. And, in August, the mosquitoes are not that bad. In June, there are the blackflies, and that is truly a bad time.

As for Rove, he is the scum of the earth. Hopefully, he will end like Lee Atwater. I wish Karl the same fate.

Minneapolis

Larry was caught in Minneapolis. The Repukeliscum National Convention will be held in Minneapolis.

How many of the GOPerverts will make it OUT of the airport and downtown to the Convention?

Tuesday, August 28, 2007 08:52 AM

A distinction without a difference

You get to St Paul through the Minneapolis airport, right?

So, my question stands: Who chose that spot? Was it Larry Craig?

Time for a vigorous OUTING campaign

It's time to out these turds. Name names. Provide information about action.

There is at least one congressman, the important RNC official and plenty of other high Repukeliscum toads to get out of the closet.

Go, Larry, go!!

You have been given a raw deal. You need to clear your name.

We in the Democratic Party wish you well. Your campaign to highlight the perversion, sexual peculiarities, repressed gays and other such persons will highlight the Republican Party and its Generation of Prostitutes (GOP) strategy of governing.

O'Conner

It is not a stain on her legacy.

It is her legacy.

She did nothing in her career which could top that. This one decision will be all that anyone ever remembers about her.

It was a political imposition of the court to ensure that the correct decision came out of the political sphere.

It showed that O'Conner was not a jurist, but just a politician ensuring that the correct court was there.

She will be remembered only for this, regardless of her own wishes.

Vitter offers a very large target

I wonder if the LA Democratic Party will take advantage. It certainly should.

I would have cartoons of elephants wearing diapers with little baby elephants in the next room. Caption: "Family values in LA mean taking both your prostitute family and your political family to the same advertising shoot."
