@j swartz

"Where are the guys I thought were so progressive - from Keith Obermann to Markos Molitsos? This campaign, and the aftershocks of it, has turned out to be a huge and depressing eye-opener. Yes, my friends, sexism towards women, notably past the babe stage is alive and well, and US left is still shooting itself in the foot.

Now the real challenge is to heal the wounds. If not for the sake of ridding the US of sexism, which thrives equally on the left and on the right, then for putting a Democrat in office.

Women are going to vote for Obama - they're too savvy not too.

"

I agree with much of what you say. 1) Women will vote for Obama. 2) They will not be happy doing so.

When you lose a close contest, no one requires that you be happy. You are not happy. I wouldn't be either.

It's the 7 stages of grief. Everyone goes thru them. I recently had a terrible and unfair loss at my place of work that I will not dwell upon. I am going thru the stages here. I am at about Stage 4.

You will go thru the stages too. I plan on volunteering, and getting my kids to do so as well.

Good luck getting thru grief.

The "man of integrity"

"As I've said before, McCain is running as a man of integrity. HE'S opened that door, HE'S making his past one of the platforms of his campaign. So I'm going to walk through that door and examine his choices, and if I think some of them don't speak well to his character, I will darn well say so."

I just love that.

When McCain returned from Vietnam, he found that his wife had been in a serious car accident, and had lost her great beauty. Being the man of integrity that he is and was, he immediately dumped her in favor of the slut he was currently fucking, Cindy McCain, a hot piece of ass 20 years his junior. He then had it all: No crippled wife, a really hot woman 20 years his junior, and 100 million dollars. In addition, people still thought of him as a man of integrity.

And we have these incredibly foolish Clinton supporters willing to support this scumbag? They are morons. Seriously. The man has no respect for women.

Clinto-wacks

You Clinto-wacks are increasingly irrelevant.

PA - BO 8 pt lead

MI - BO 9 pt lead

VA and IN - BO and JM TIED

Who the fuck cares what you PUMAs want? Whining bitches mostly.

When the fall comes, we will have a strong result. BO will be

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

Then we will be accounting for WHO HELPED and WHO DIDN'T HELP

If YOU HELPED, the door will be open. Your issues will be heard. Your problems will be solved.

If YOU DID NOT HELP, NO ONE WILL GIVE A SHIT about you.

Feingold filibuster?

I read the interview. He was asked point blank if he would filibuster.

He did not say "Yes, I will filibuster."

He said, "Well, that's what it means."

I don't agree that a filibuster is guaranteed.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 04:50 PM

Who are the PUMAs?

Well, there are 12 in NYC, 2 in Scranton and 26 in Muncie, IN.

'And stop talking about "18 million." You don't speak for all 18 million. You don't even speak for 9 million.'

At this point, 11 % of Clinton's original 18 million are going to vote for McCain. Of those, probably 60 % are in NY and CA and IL, and do not matter. We are down to 4 %.

Of the 4 %, probably 1/4 are in states which Dems will not carry.

We are down to 3 %.

So, 3 %ers, what's your offer? Why should we take anything you say seriouslY?

Original article: Bully for Nancy Pelosi!

Can't we all just get along

Traister, you are fanning the flames of wacki resentment. There is a modest, but irrelevant, amount of sexism. Note, however, that Pelosi is Speaker of the House. She is in a place that no female has ever been before. How much sexism can there be?

Let's focus on kicking McCain's old, senile, Depends-clad butt.

This is irresponsible and a provocation

What is the point of this? It is just picking at a scab.

These Clinton supporters need to go through the 7 stages of grief. They do NOT need a provacateur who is trying to generate huge lists of insult war participants.

What is the point here? Please, defend this irresponsible piece.

Original article: ESPN's dishonest tap-dance

That was a CORKER of a game too

3-2

3 goals in the last 5 minutes

Wow

What a SHAME that ESPN did not cover it honestly.

Yep, no one cares what the SC does

So, for you Clinton Whiners, remember, when McCain choses 3 new SC justices to replace Stevens (88), Ginsberg (78, and in poor health), and Souter (72, and not happy on the court), he will be replacing 3 liberal member with 3 like Sam Alito and John Roberts.

If this happens, it will be a conservative takeover of the country for a generation. This is not hyperbole.

Thursday, June 26, 2008 12:32 PM

Today in the SC

Today, in the SC, the Justices ruled, 5-4, that we need more guns and dead kids.

That's the issue, folks. It's the court.

If McCain gets in, the ruling will be 8-1. Stevens is retiring in the next term, if he does not die first. Ginsberg is retiring. Souter will probably retire.

You get to decide. If McCain wins, the SC becomes a MONOLITHIC CONSERVATIVE court. Choice will be overturned. Corporate control of the court will be set in stone.

You must decide, but it's time to do that. We can no longer wait.

Mmmmm

She's cute. Must be really really weird.

I am speechless

I am just appalled by this. OK, they turned out well. So what? Most kids born to teenage mothers do not. If one or two are OK, who cares?

This is an idiotic piece. I'm sorry, no good things come when you get pregnant at 18.

Hillary's debt

If all these PUMAs are so heped up about HIllary, they can help her retire her debt. She owes 20 M, there are 18 M of the Hillary folks. $1 per person, sounds like to me.

On the other hand, if there are about 20000 of them (my guess), it will be more expensive.

Put up or shut up, PUMA.

PUMA: Pay Up Major Account

And if you don't, kindly shut the fuck up.
