  • The author's ignorance is amazing really

    [Read the article: Pseudopsychology Today]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Pam Anderson once said, "If I understood the relationship between motherhood and breast size, I could have saved a ton of money." Breasts get bigger during and after pregnancy, and WOW-KAZOWEE!! men who noticed this over the billions of years mated with those women, and had more children.

In addition, as the father of teenage girls, I believe that you can predict that interest in men is a function of the size of breasts. As girls get sexually mature, their breasts get bigger, and this has an influence on their behavior.

Those who talk of "cultish pseudoscience" should do some research. Has the author read any evolutionary psychology? Even a watered-down pop version would count.

  • There is NOTHING more contemptible

[Read the article: Don't sell my company to Rupert Murdoch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

than some suck-up, syncophantic, lying scumbag who works for the WSJ enterprise, who tells all the rest of us how wonderful capitalism is and how it cannot be fettered, complaining when HIS FUCKING OX IS BEING FUCKING GORED. WELL, FUCK YOU, MR. CLOWN! We have listened to the assholes at the WSJ tell us that buggy whip manufacturers complained when the auto took over. Hey, what does it feel like now?

We need several other professions to get this treatment:

    1) We need economic power centers to be off-shored. Economists love to tell us how off-shoring is inevitable. If economists were being off-shored, you would hear a lot less of the crap about off-shoring if they were.

    2) Economic journalists need to be off-shored. Same comments about economic journalists.

    3) Lawyers need to have an H-1B program set up to bring CHEAP-ASS Indian lawyers in to take the jobs of the billions of incompetent and vastly overpaid lawyers in this country.

  • What it means

[Read the article: Don't sell my company to Rupert Murdoch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He'll run the Dow Jones Corp much the same way it was run before except a little more profitably.

In the words of countless introductory speeches, "Look to your left, look to your right...one of the three people, including yourself, will not be here after Murdoch takes over."

There will be a huge layoff period, but HEY!! It's the WSJ!!! You guys/girls love to watch capitalism, red in tooth and claw, work its Smithian magic, making everyone smarter and lighter....especially for the 1 in 3 heading for the unemployment line.

  • WSJ and unions

[Read the article: Don't sell my company to Rupert Murdoch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The WSJ news group has a UNION. Don't gloat when UNION members are threatened with a lay off.

But they are a bunch of Union morons who believe that if they tout management and write articles telling everyone else how bad unions are, they will do well. Well, that didn't work too well.

I am SERIOUSLY glad to see them get the VERY LARGE SPOONFUL of cod liver oil the WSJ is prescribing to everyone else.

So, I wish the ENTIRE CAPITALIST PLAGUE upon their house. They're just a bunch of buggy-whip manufacturers looking at the first auto. So, I'm gonna sit here and roll in it, thanks.

  • Dad has offered to help

[Read the article: So much for the alcohol-sensing anklet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

All she needs is for her parents, the responisble adults, to sit her down and give her a good talking to. Ahh, Never mind.

Her dad has come out and pleaded with her to allow him and her mother to help. But, apparently, Lindsay is not interested in parental assistance. Too bad, really. She is 21, which is not very old. I have a 20 year old, and my daughter is really immature and unable at this age to really make sensible long-term decisions. I think many 20 21 year olds are like that. They make bad decisions, because they are really not that old.

Our culture does not emphasize autonomy, and teenhood is getting longer and longer.

  • Giuliani

[Read the article: Will Rudy Giuliani's marriage hurt his chances?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

is a pit bull. When you are in a fight, you want a pit bull by your side. When you are not in a fight, your main problem is controlling the pit bull and stopping him from killing your children and cats.

That's Giuliani, and that's the story we want.

  • Giuliani's inability to retain a wife

[Read the article: Will Rudy Giuliani's marriage hurt his chances?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

demonstrates that he is either a person of very poor judgement or a total asshole or probably both.

It's perfectly legit to discuss this.

He is not fit to be president, because he is not fit to be a husband.

  • Divorce is a legit topic

[Read the article: Will Rudy Giuliani's marriage hurt his chances?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"Failure" is too judgmental a word to use about marriage. Sometimes they just don't work out and the parties are, or one is, unhappy continuing in them. Sometimes the couple is young and foolish. Sometimes they are old and fed up. There are lots of reasons marriages end, and often the end portends improvement.

Sorry about your marriage. I'm sticking with failure. Because when you make a committment, it's a committment.

Too often, politicians get into this ego-driven cycle, when they get in the limelight. The test is in what they do with the old, broken-down, flabby wife.

Giuliani and Thompson have dumped theirs. Scum. Additionally, Giuliani's children will not campaign for him, because he treated his wife Donna like such a piece of shit. He dumped her, for god's sake, in a news conference. What a piece of crap.

Then you can take Steve LaFollette and Roy Blunt, both of whom went to Washington, fucked cute little lobbyists with perky tits and dumped their wives, who were bitter and not happy about getting dumped for some slut with firm, well-formed tits.

  • Gay marriage is not gonna happen

[Read the article: The Democrats' "gay debate" dance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Sorry, gay lobby. Not gonna happen. If gay activists had settled for civil unions, Kerry would now be president. But the wack SF mayor Gavin Newsome had to do that idiotic and illegal stunt of marrying hundreds of gays in fake pretend marriages, and that really pissed off the social conservatives. That led to the OH marriage initiative, which brought out the conservawhacks, and that provided the margin for Bush.

  • The real reason

[Read the article: Karl Rove's math]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bush is a walking dead man politically. He will do nothing in the next 18 months. Nothing.

So, why would Rove hang around? No reason at all.

He will be taking a 3 week vacation, and then he will sign on with a second-tier person with a future. Someone like ... Jeb.

Karl will be on the Jeb in 2012 payroll starting Nov 1.
