Hillary's responsibility in the upcoming election
[Read the article: Sitting shiva with Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As part of her election strategy, Hillary raised the issue of experience and used it to create huge doubts about Obama. Now that she has failed to win, she bears responsibility for this. How will she work to arrest the doubts that SHE CREATED in her followers about Obama's readiness?
I'm waiting to see what she will do.

What is AIPAC?
[Read the article: Sitting shiva with Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]AIPAC is NOT representative of American Jewry. It is a bunch of deranged right-wing wackos who see all of American foreign policy in terms of Israel. It is the group associated with not one but two recent spy scandals in which the traitors in AIPAC convinced Americans to provide documents to Israel. These people are in jail for life for treason, and some of AIPAC should be too.
American foreign policy includes Israel, but is not all-Israel, all-the-time. We need a balanced foreign policy.
I have a suggestion for the Israel backers here. I say that we stop all foreign support of Israel until they stop stealing Palestinian land, chopping down Palestinian olive groves, and otherwise emulating terrorist states since 1932 in the treatment of minorities. We are not have a Kristal-nacht in Israel, we are having a Kristal-jahr.

@gabbyone
[Read the article: Sitting shiva with Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"as recently as April" when Hillary was engaged in 24/7 full-throated attempted destruction of Obama?
"A new Pew Research Center poll points to a surging tide of fury, especially among white women. As recently as April, this group preferred Obama over the presumptive Republican John McCain by three percentage points. By May, McCain enjoyed an eight-point lead among white women."
I will wait until Saturday, when Hillary concedes and see her tone. Then I will want to wait 3-4 weeks to allow passions to cool.
At that point, take your poll and present it. I am hoping that Obama, being the very sharp guy that I think he is, will have made STRONG OUTREACH EFFORTS to Hillary backers. And MORE IMPORTANTLY, I am hoping that Hillary will have done some VERY STRONG things to support Obama, since his current position is much due to her treasonous attempts at destroying him.

Experience
[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I guess that means JFK, Eisenhower, and FDR weren't qualified since none them were governers or US Senators prior to running for office.
JFK was a senator with the same amount of experience as Obama. FDR was a 1st term governor of NY.
Obama has MORE experience than many presidents. For instance, our greatest president, Abraham Lincoln, had 3 terms in the IL House and 2 terms in the US House before running for President. He did fine.
The thing about experience is that you HIRE experience. Obama will hire experienced help. What he has that McSenile does not have is 1) youth, enthusiasm and stamina 2) judgment and 3) an superlative record on the war, the economy, choice and all issues vitally important to Democrats.
if you are a Democrat, you think about issues. You support the candidate who has the correct position.
That would be Barack Obama.

Apology
[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Lastly, saying that Obama should apologize for the remarks of Pfleger, but should work to talk and reconcile with Ferraro, highlights a persistent double standard applied to the Obama campaign. Namely, that he should always be more decent than his oppenents."
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should Obama apologize for the stupid remarks of this idiot. Obama did not write them, approve of them, authorize them, or condone them. Pfleger does not work for Obama, nor is he associated with him.
An apology implies responsibility. It was be a mistake.

Moronic stupidity
[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Obama spoke out against the war at the beginning. As a senator, he has voted for the war funding consistently."
Hey, dimbulb, the vote is for funding the troops. Nothing about those votes could stop the war. People like you consistently fail to understand the situation. The war will only end when the Democrats have veto power. What is so hard to understand about that?

Lying pieces of shit
[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Obama has presented himself as the black candidate throughout his election."
Hey, shithead, that's a huge lie.

Making up stuff
[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"I have been all along a supporter of Hillary Clinton. I'll set aside for now my reasons not to support Sen. Obama, but one of them is crucial to my thinking: *he* left no room for me in his movement. I am a 64-year-old White woman, quite tired of hearing him talk about how "the old ways" have no place in politics anymore, how it is time to change, and "look at you, all young people."
Well, you sound like you need to take a pill or something. I am a 56 year old man, and you are as old as you think you are. I think I am young, and find Obama refreshing, innovative, and sensible. If you want to be an old fart descending into old age, usually without grace, you may do so. But if you wish to become young, think young, and you will be young. You are only as old as you think you are, and obviously YOU have decided that YOU are over the hill, and getting senile. Too bad. I don't think that way.
