Use of vitriol
[Read the article: Answers for Joe Klein]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I respond to things on-line. As such, I am occasionally prone to vitriol. Here's the problem: In America today, the Repukeliscum have gotten away, for years, ever since Newt and the rise of the Scumbag Repukeliscum, with the use of unbelievably biased language. I will not tolerate that at this time. I hear nothing but BS from them, so feel at this time that tit-for-tat is the only possible approach. I call a spade a spade, and I call the Repukeliscum morons morons.
Most of the Repukeliscum Party are idiots. They believe in creationism. They believe that corporations are our friends. They believe many things that only a total moron could possibly believe, and so I consider them to be idiots. There are occasional Republicans who are not total idiots, but these usually lose in the primaries.

Jane was using her innate power
[Read the article: Fondling Stephen Colbert]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Women have a power over men. She was using that power.
Colbert is always trying to embarrass others with his wit. She embarrassed him with physical contact. OK, so...

Blasphemy
[Read the article: The stone is cast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's Falwell's legacy. He's a blasphemer. He has claimed that he spoke for God. That's the essence of blasphemy.

The whole episode is very troubling
[Read the article: The president's selective intelligence]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He tried to get the AG to sign off on an unconstitutional problem.
When JOHN ASHCROFT (pardon me while I revive myself) refused, Bush did it anyway.
He deliberately instituted an unconstitutional program, in direct absence of approval from the AG.
That's impeachable.

Christians like Goodling
[Read the article: Trying to change the subject?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]have a mental disorder. She is a firm believer in the Tooth Fairy, and this supercedes her belief in the law.
Religious schools have no business running law schools, just like law schools have no business running theology departments.

Strategy for the Dems
[Read the article: Do Dems now share equal blame with Bush for Iraq? No]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Pin the war on Bush.
Call it George's war for oil.
Do it all the time.
Say that we voted this way simply because we had too. We support the troops, but cannot support this war.
George's strategy is to get out of office with the war still on. Then, when it explodes, blame the Dem in the White House at that time. So, that's what we need to avoid - we must ensure that he gets all the blame.
ALL THE BLAME for George and his Repukeliscum buddies.

Incompetence is not questioned by these idiots
[Read the article: Sen. Reid's crime]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We have an administration in which NO level of incompetence is sufficiently high to lead to your being sacked. So, when Reid finally gets around to actually questioning these morons, he is condemned as a traitor.
I guess to really be acceptable he would have to reveal 5-10 covert CIA agents. Then Dick Cheney would really like him again.

Identification
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When a Dutch fan sees the Orange, he knows what it is.
Same with the Italians, the French, the Danes, and almost every other country. They have one set of uniforms, and they don't change them. That's because uniforms are NOT fashion statements, but signals - this is my team, my nation, blah, blah, blah.
We have this bizarre idea that changing the uniforms will sell more. Since the US team jersey just suck, suck, suck, that won't happen. Plus, there is no identification with them.
Get one Jersey for men and women. Make it national colors (there are three). Make the women's team a little more feminine, the men's a TEENSY bit more masculine.
And stick with it for 10 years.

GLARING GLARING Omission
[Read the article: Florida election mayhem for 2008]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]While all of this is interesting, it is not very important. What is important is the change in voting status of felons who have completed their terms in jail. In almost all states, the right to vote is restored to felons. This was not automatically true in Florida. Some have estimated that 100,000 - 200,000 felons had their right to vote restored earlier this year by Mr. Crist, a reasonable and fair man.
They are predominantly black, predominantly poor, and 90 % Democrat.
We NEED to ensure that 100,000-200,000 additional Democrats are registered in Florida. I wonder if anyone is attending to that.

Carmona's a whore
[Read the article: Former surgeon general details Bush administration interference]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He did not quit. He is a little lapdog, doing what the Bush Administration wants.
There is nothing more pathetic or disgusting than watching a whore pretend that someone else made the clothes come off. Carmona said the words he was paid to say.
He's a whore. He sold his honor for a bag of Fritos.

Evolutionary psychology is not a "cultish pseudoscience"
[Read the article: Pseudopsychology Today]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am mystified by this kind of neanderthal nitwit name-calling. Yes, some parts of evolutionary psychology make some people uncomfortable, but the people who are uncomfortable are usually trying to figure out why, as a woman, they just failed the Firefighter Physical Exam for the 34th time.
There are, in fact, biological preparations for many of our activities. Why do men find young women beautiful, and older more mature and wise women not desirable? That makes tremendous sense from the evolutionary psychology standpoint. We men find young women beautiful because beauty means "childbearing ability." Smooth skin, small faces, regular features, clean skin, large breasts - these are the clues to us men that this little hunk-a-pulk is rarin' to go, babywise. As women age, and men as well, our skin becomes less clear, hair changes, etc. Women lose their ability to bear children.
