Blut und Boden

The Nazi Party slogan used during the great Nazi ascendancy of 1930, in which the Party gained a huge increase in seats in the Bundestag.

"Blut und Boden" or "blood and soil" was the Nazi party saying. Here, they were appealing to the fascist notion that you had to be "grown from the German soil" with "pure German blood" to be a patriotic true German.

This is Kathleen Parker's argument. This is nauseating.

The lesson of Hillary's campaign

If you are passionately backed by a minority of the voters, and you are equally passionately loathed by a majority of the voters, you are unlikely to be elected.

Hillary began the campaign season with a COMMITTED, EXTREMELY STRONG coterie of HATERS opposed to her for a WHOLE variety of reasons. Her campaign has reinforced all of those concerns, and introduced new ones.

What has she done to convince skeptics like me that she might be worth taking a chance on? Absolutely nothing.

If you wish to run for president, begin with the perception of your candidacy at the start. When you are like Hillary, you begin with a huge hill to climb, and then you do things, over and over, to make the hill higher. What is surprising about her failure to win?

The other thing that we have learned is that the Clinton Campaign, which is a Cult of Personality centered on the Holy Hillary, is very hard to turn off once the regular normal American voter has indicated his/her lack of interest in the Holy One, Hillary the Good, Brave and True. Although we normal non-saved democrats do not like Holy Hillary the One who will Save the World with Her Virginal Goodness, this has not penetrated to the Already Confused, The Followers of Holy Hillary. Cults of personality cause the cult members to act like lunatics, and that is certainly born out by the members of the Cult of Holy Hillary.

FL and MI

"eople in these states are angry because their votes are not counting"

Actually, most people in these states do not give a flying fuck about how badly they have been screwed over by their own politicians. This is all inside baseball. I really don't give a crap, and wouldn't if I live in FL and MI, and I follow politics.

What is it about Klintoon KultWalk Hillary loving nutballs like you and rules? When you have a game, you have rules. FL and MI broke the rules. I live in IL, and we didn't break the rules. My votes should count. Those from FL and MI should not.

Tough titties, little kitty. Play fair, and your votes count.

Let's seat FL and MI

We will divide the delegates fairly. That would be a division mirroring the current national lead of Obama. He should get about 55 % of the delegates, and Hillary the Cheat can have the rest.

That's a fair solution. I'm sure you Klintoon Kultwacks will go along.

Stupidity and Klintoon Kultwacks

"The people of Florida and Michigan didn't break any rules. They don't deserve to be puninshed for what the Republicans (with help from cooperating Dem leaders) in their states did to the electoral process. "

Look, dummy, everybody who is sensible (that leaves you and the other Insane Klintoon Kult Klowns out) knows what is going on. This involves SEATING at the convention for POLITICIANS. We have a bunch of politicians who want to go to the convention. That's all. Nothing else.

Morons like the Klintoon Posse wacks are just pushing this stupid non-issue. No single person who is not a politician has been disenfranchised. This has nothing to do with reality. It's just a stupid issue. That's why you are pimping it.

Bill Kristol: Nepotism in action

Bill Kristol is where he is because of his dad, and his own abilities, meager and lacking as they are, have nothing to do with it.

Robert and Frederick Kagan, who pushed and continue to push the Iraq war, have a father Don, who got them started.

Jonah Goldberg would be running a convenience mart if his mother were not Lucianne Goldberg.

It's amazing how much of the right-wingnut "intellectuals" who are so into "personal accomplishments" are there because of Mommy and Daddy.

siempre the dumbshit

"Is it so frightening to Liberals that one of their own-The NYT-should have an espoused conservative on staff? Even a conservative who is 2nd tier? The NYT picked a 2nd string conservative so he would be less a threat and Salon still feels it must have a column condemning the very idea of opposing views. The irony of Liberalism is its need to not hear disagreement."

Gezus, clown. You demonstrate the requisit stupidity of today's conservative.

For 30 years, prior to 2004, moron, Bill Safire was the staff conservative. He was a good writer, and not a hack. Of course, there are no conservatives today who are not hacks. And of course for the rest, there are no conservatives who are not stupid. You yourself demonstrate this fact.

next comes the Honor Killing.

After all, a stain on the honor of a family must be expunged in blood.
