Addition: The lost art

"don't get this, I really don't. She wins the bigger states, she polls better in the states we have to win, she carries Latinos, which we have to carry, and yet the pundits--like it was their decision--keep hammering at her to get out of the race."

Well, it's called addition. You add up the delegates that Obama won, and the delegates that Hillary won, and Obama has more.

I know that, for many persons, math is hard. Addition is hard. 1+1=2. Clinton delegates are 1 and Obama delegates are 1. When you add, even if it is hard and one of those complicated things, you get more for Obama.

Whoops. It's the reality-based community again.

Experience

"here has never before been a candidate so lacking in integrity and basic qualifications as Obama. We will do all we can to keep him out of the White House."

Well, let's see. I can think of a candidate. He was a successful lawyer in Illinois, but had only 2 terms in the state legislature and 1 term in the congress before running and winning the Presidency.

That man was Abraham Lincoln. He did OK, and so will Obama.

bilious hate-filled bitches

"Data guy---I sure you skipped over the integrity part. Lincoln had integrity, Obama has none. You people who compare Obama to Lincoln are way off base. He is to be compared to his mentor Rev. Wright and his sponsor Resko."

Yeah, well, I'll match your Resko, and raise you one Norman Hsu (now in jail for felonies large and small, a GIGANORMOUS Hillary fan), Aaron Tonken (HUGE Hillary backer, again now in jail), and then we have Abdul Jinnah "A Pakistani immigrant who hosted fundraisers in Southern California for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is being sought by the FBI on charges that he funneled illegal contributions to Clinton’s political action committee and Sen. Barbara Boxer’s 2004 reelection campaign. Authorities say Northridge businessman Abdul Rehman Jinnah, 56, fled the country after an indictment accused him of engineering more than $50,000 in illegal donations to the Democratic committees."

For every marginal person associated with Obama, we have 10 to 20 scum-filled toads who are bosom buddies with Hillary.

The fact is that she is dirty, dirty, dirty, with scummy lobbyist money.

And, as an Illinois resident, I believe that the Lincoln-Obama analogy is pretty good.

What about asking

Grampa McDepends about this issue?

What does Grampa say? Would Grampa use the same approach when he plans the invasion of Iran?

What brand of paper undies does Grampa wear, anyway?

House

House really really does suck. I am not a doctor, and do not play one on TV. I am involved in medical research, as a humble Ph.D. researcher. If you are a doctor who breaks all the rules to solve the disease, you either get your stupid ass fired, or you get sued, sued, sued. As well you should, since medicine is hard, and doing the unexpected and breaking the rules usually means you are an idiot who doesn't know much. And, no, I have never watched House.

mce

"Shapiro, you, along with the countless writers and jabberers on TV and radio, are completely clueless, since, thanks to a new Post/ABC poll, most Dems could care less what you and others say...a majority want her to stay in and a majority even want her as VP...so much for this assinine death talk."

No, we do not want that woman as VP. We want a qualified leader. That leaves Her Inevitabilityness out. She is not qualified, and she is not a leader.

She would bring huge problems as VP.

We want Jim Webb or Bill Richardson.

Well, I hope they notice

I am going to make sure that the Republicans notice. I am starting a campaign of calling republican offices in Washington.

The message: "We are coming for you in November."

We need a little bit of a panic going in the Republicans. If you live in a Republican district, call them. Let them know that WE ARE COMING FOR YOU IN NOVEMBER.

Original article: She's still in it to win it

Hillary would lose PA, OH and other purple states

If you look at the county by county map of PA, you can compare who won what in 2004 (B v K) and who won what in the primary (C v O).

In 2004, Bush won the rural counties, and Kerry won the urban county. SHAZAAM!! What a shock!! That's how democrats always win purple states. Democrats win the cities and lose the country, and do well enough in the 'burbs to pull it out.

That's what Obama did. He won the cities and did well but not exceptionally well in the 'burbs.

Hillary, on the other hand, won the rural areas. She would not win these counties in the GE. On the other hand, Obama won the counties of PA going away.

So, if Hillary followed this pattern, she would lose PA.

In November

We are coming for the Republicans.

We are gonna beat them like a drum. It is time, and past time, to take them to the cleaners.

We are coming in November, and we are gonna kick their skanky butts.

Call your representative, if he or she is a repukeliscum. Tell them: "WE ARE COMING FOR YOU IN NOVEMBER."

The obvious is obvious

"Jamie, I should have included that point in the post. But I had a question I wasn't able to answer: Have prior Democrats running for that seat also run as conservatives?"

Of course, anyone running s of the MDline is gonna be conservative. i cannot remember the last "progressive southerner". If you are a "progressive southener" you are also a "unsuccessful candidate".

Hey how 'bout that Edwards endorsement!!!!
