Original article: Hillary's time of troubles

@mjkoch

I just read mjkoch's little piece about Hillary. While others call this "mean spirited" and "nasty", I call it "accurate" and "refreshingly candid". I know that Hillary supporters like to pretend that she is popular, blah blah blah, she is not popular. She is wildly popular with some Democratic women (20 %) and independent Democratic leaning women (10 %). She is also popular with some Democratic and independent men - I will generously give her an additional 7 % there.

There are many many many who do not like her. You can ignore this FACT or you can pretend that it is not there. Your attempt to "wish it away" will not be successful.

mjkoch has told the truth. As the little girl said, "I says it's spinach, and I says to hell with it."

Let's get serious

"More money, more resources and more hearings were spent investigating the Clintons on those fake partisan scandals during the 90's than was spent on the 911 commission. If that doesn't shame, embarrass and damn the GOP and the media in the eyes of history nothing will."

You are contending that the Repukeliscum will become "embarrass"ed? You cannot be serious. The 'Scum are without any possibility of embarrassment. In fact, the 'Scum theory of Public Discourse is the Goebbels theory - repeat, repeat, repeat the lie, until it becomes established wisdom. I see nothing in Repukeliscum conduct until now that suggests that they will change. They do not view these issues as vetted, but rather targets to be re-exploited.

You are simply deluded

"If Obama eventually lands on the ticket, Karl Rove's strategy will have succeeded, and he will use the senator's long-running relationship with indicted criminal Tony Rezco to defeat the Democrats in the fall. For more on the strategy, check out the article I've posted at thecityedition.com, which links to other sources."

You are totally confused. Obama's marginal, tangential, and totally irrelevant relationship with this guy is not gonna even come up, except when posted by Clinton supporters. Besides, McCain has the Keating thing, where he took actual money.

Please, stop posting crap. It does nothing for Hillary when her rabid supporters post the same moronic, bullshitesque lies over and over and over.

Huh! "Formerly beloved" indeed

"It is beyond me how the formerly beloved Clintons can be vilified by Democrats with RW talking points."

During the eight years of Bill, for every 1 good thing he did, there was at least 1 bad thing, and sometimes more. Many here have extensively listed the bad and the good, so I won't bother.

Now, Bill-Hill want a do-over. Hillary EXPLICITELY reminds people of the Clinton years. It's HER CHOICE. So, we are here to indicate what was GOOD about Clinton (either) and what was bad. We are weighing the soul of Clinton, and he/she has been found wanting.

That's the point.

FL and MI

"Imagine if the DNC allowed Clinton to be the nominee if she loses of the state primaries/caucuses with superdelegates and a simple allocation of Michigan and Florida to Clinton. "

This would be terrible. FL and MI cannot be allowed to be seated as currently voted on. The votes were illegitimate.

They will be seated IF AND ONLY IF they do not determine the outcome. I see a simple solution: On a specific day (say March 15), the delegations from MI and FL will be constituted to reflect delegate proportions AT THAT TIME. That way, they will not sway the outcome, but can have an effect going forward.

Majority?

"Enjoy your Hillary-hating. The silent majority still exists."

Well, recent primaries have shown that the "majority" is not a majority, but roughly 50 %. And of those, how many would vote McCain? A VERY small number.

Take your chicken-shit threats out of here, asshole. You're no democrat. You're just a stupid jerk.

What a steaming pile of BS

"Superdelegates will never support a candidate who loses big blue states like California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and crucial swing states like Arizona, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. If Obama's vaunted momentum (catch the wave, dudes) doesn't net him Ohio on March 4 and/or Pennsylvania in April, he won't be the nominee, no matter how many delegates he picks up in the Virgin Islands."

Other than the FACT that this is totally being pulled out of your butt, it is about as accurate as anything in Nostrademus or in a tarot card. Stop posting bullshit. You have NO IDEA what superdelegates would do. I can say one thing: Many of them, like Gore's campaign manager, have said that the superdelegates should not decide the issue. They will follow the other delegates, that's MY GUESS - I AM BEING HONEST UNLIKE OTHERS WHO

Good people

"No place for a good person or for a true patriot."

Yeah, maybe. I have a simple rule, myself. Good people use a moniker. Assholes, morons, dweebs and idiots post under "Anonymous". Like you, buddy/babs.

Pray tell

"if Obama wins. Preening narcissists shrieking slogans at us, then berating us when we don't fall in line. Worship for style and spectacle over substance. A cult of personality that replaces reasoned debate."

What is the difference that the Hillary robots offer? The "cult of personality" is the most apt description I have ever heard of the Hillary supporter.

I support Obama for several reasons. He's a good guy, his ideas are sound, and he's not a Clinton. We did the Clinton thing for 8 years. One time thru that little merry-go-round is enuff.

A question for our Republican friend ajcalhoun

"By the way, I'm a lifelong Republican and congenital conservative. So much for the convenience of jamming people into boxes."

I contend that there are no "Clinton republicans" but that there is a chance of "Obama Republicans". Do you have an opinion about that? Will Republicans cross over to support Hillary? Will they do so to support Barack?
