Steinem is a dinosaur

Her antiquated ideas of what is difficult, and who is facing adversity, are just so-ooo-ooo 60s. I am a child of the 60-70s too, and am firmly convinced that things have improved since then. Women have some limits, but not like in the 60s.

To most actual contemporary persons, Steinem's whining, puking, puling rant is simply embarrassing.

The next battle

What's next is contraception. The right wing nut wack extremist anti-choice morality fascists oppose contraception as much as abortion. The two are considered to be of a piece. Both get in the way of "gawd's will" whatever that is.

If you are ambivalent on choice, better get over that. Retaining choice as an option for women means retaining contraception.

Assholes, morons and Kori

ANYONE who would condone an asshole like this little shit is an idiot.

I hope that anyone who does condone it ends up with THEIR telephone number on Facebook, so that total idiots call THEM at 4 AM.

There is a private zone. It is called the home. You don't call there unless its an EMERGENCY, not because you are a shit little high school moron.

Garrison, read the law

The law is a bad law. If it was a Democratic law, it would also be bad.

1) It is only punitive. There is no credits for doing well, only demerits for doing poorly.

2) Schools that are diverse are more strongly hit.

3) Standards differ from state to state. Illinois has strict standards, Texas has crappy loose standards.

4) When a school fails to show AYP, it has more and more strict punishments. After 3 years, school districts must pay PRIVATE FIRMS TO TUTOR STUDENTS.

PRIVATE FIRMS TO TUTOR STUDENTS

The law sucks, and I am amazed at how you, a reasonable person, has not showed any critical faculties about this law.

Ask a teacher. None, not one, likes the law.

Impeach McConnell

By his own admission, he is incompetent.

Get rid of this idiot, and get in someone who can do his job.

Feminazis

I have had it up to here with NOW and it's feminazi strategy to kill Obama and help Hillary. I will NEVER support them on ANYTHING again. They are total jerks and totally disloyal assholes.

I have seen more and more that the Hillary-bots and Hillary-nazis are willing to do ANYTHING to ANYONE to advance Hillary. I just do not support that shit, and I'm calling them on that crap.

If you belong to NOW, quit. Send them an email. Tell them to stop the NOW-boating.

I am incensed.

Really?

The problem with Hillary-bots is that they continue to find TINY flaws in Obama and his group while ignoring MAJOR ETHICAL VIOLATIONS in Hillary and her little group.

"In addition, Mr. Obama’s chief political strategist, David Axelrod, has worked as a consultant to Exelon. A spokeswoman for Exelon said Mr. Axelrod’s company had helped an Exelon subsidiary, Commonwealth Edison, with communications strategy periodically since 2002, but had no involvement in the leak controversy or other nuclear issues."

I'm SHOCKED!! SHOCKED!!

Of course, I was MUCH MORE SHOCKED when I found out that Mark Penn's group is representing Blackwater.

We have Hillary's campaign director representing a mass murderer, and you are concerned about a 3rd rate minor connection.

Clean your own house. Hillary's campaign is dirty, and her supporters fight dirty.

During the dedication of the Clinton Library

Bill Clinton went up to Karl Rove and said, "Man, I REALLY admire you! You are just the master!! Nobody but nobody does political infighting better than you. We need to sit down and talk politics."

Clearly they did, and clearly Bill picked up some pointers.

Since when did Karl Rove-style NOW-boating become acceptable? Seems to me that it became OK when She Who Must Be Obeyed became threatened.

Lack of political intelligence

is pretty pervasive.

"If he had voted "no" on the bills in question, rather than "present," would he have taken heat or suffered any political price for for it at the time? The answer to that question would be NO. He held an extremely safe seat in a liberal district. A "yes" vote would have been the wrong answer for him politically, not a "no" vote. Indeed, "No" would have been better for him politically than "present" in his district."

It wasn't his vote, you dummy. It was moderate Republicans. they couldn't vote against the leadership. They could vote "present"

God save us from clueless NC people who do NOT understant Illinois. As a grad from UNC who lives in Illinois, I see the problem. IL is more complex.

A LOVERLY EXAMPLE from old91a10

Here again the rabid hit piece about Obama while IGNORING THE HUGE PROBLEMS from Hillary.

She voted to give Bush the GREEN LIGHT in Iraq. Obama did not.

She voted to give Bush the GREEN LIGHT in Iran. Obama did not.

If you can explain those two, we can talk. But it's the same old shit, time and time again. Hillary is DIRTY, and Obama is not.
