  • another Kool-Aid drinker

[Read the article: Joe Lieberman for secretary of defense?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Well, that caps it for me on Lieberman. I used to hold out that he was just having moments... kind of like when my old dog would run his head into the door jam. It's fully apparent he (Joe, not my dog) needs to be put out to pasture before he can inflict any more damage to the Dems.

I used to hold the same hope for Powell... and then Guilliani went 'round the bend too... or maybe it's just the spotlight that brings out these guys true colors.

    So sad.

  • il Douchbagge

[Read the article: The Tom DeLay and Dick Cheney show]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Would be worth it to go in, get loaded and then puke all over Delay's new shoes! (Sigh)

Nice to see the crooks and liars being consistent in their support for each other.

"Thick as Thieves!" should be the theme.

  • Dead is dead...

[Read the article: Rumsfeld: Some deaths count more than others]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Thanks Mr. SecDef for making it clear that you have a firm grasp of reality... at least as you see it.

By your (or your apologists) rationale - to take it to it's ultimate conclusion - that since all the people living in IRAQ (or serving there) will eventually die then what matter is it to us when that happens. If it serves our purpose that they die sooner than later then so be it... we can't avoid death now can we.

I think I'll wrap my head in duct tape now and start my meds.

    Peace!

  • Mr. VP lying again... still.

[Read the article: Dick Cheney, domestic spying and "false comforts" before 9/11]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Oh Mr. Cheney... does your mother know you talk like this? I'm sure she must've told you at some point in your childhood that it was not okay to lie to people - or make up stories - or make excuses.

What a dissapointment you must be to your mother.

  • Dick - that's what we called Nixon too.

[Read the article: Setting the record straight, the Dick Cheney way]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yep - our estemed Mr. VP is right... in his mind. You gotta remember that Dick has been finagling his way through the halls of power for so long that he no longer sees the truth for what it is. To him it is just another obstacle to be avoided in his quest for power.

Yes - I will go on record in calling Mr. Cheney a liar.

That should get me audited or put on the no-fly list soon. Sigh...

  • God said what!??!

    [Read the article: The jailer]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Oh right... Some guy way back when decided to con people into thinking they had an inherent right to land and resources because it was said by "GOD".

    The con worked unfortunately.

It really comes down to resources and who's got what. Take away the gang colors - oops, I mean flags - and you've got people who have and people who have not. Keep those other people from getting a finger in yours long enough and they will find a way - or some reason to come after it even more tenaciously.

Israel may be a jewish state but it will never survive if it maintains it's right-to-exist-because-God-said-so mentality.

Unfortunately there are far too many people in the world who have given over to the fables of "might is right" and "my god tells me so".

If I sound like an "apologist" for people who terrorize other with violence then pull your head out of your ass and listen to what I am really saying... and read up on history (without your filters).

    Peace.

  • Call it like it is...

[Read the article: A sad little story about detainee abuse]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Well Salon - you are being far too polite. I however am not in the mood to suffer fools this year so I will go on record and call Mr. Bush a liar.

Little white lies don't count either... I'm talking about WMDs. If that doesn't qualify I don't know what does.

    Peace.

  • His momma so fat...

[Read the article: Charity begins at home]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Georges momma so fat she goes all around the tax loopholes in sight!

Could be her tax guy told her to do it this way. You know it's hard getting tax breaks on anything when you're that well off!

    Pathetic.

  • Arrogant SOB

[Read the article: DeLay: Threatened judges still don't "get it"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Tommy, Tommy, Tommy... those people in "Black Robes" are not devil worshippers or occult leaders. They are the judi ciary branch of this thing we like to call our "Government" (for better or worse).

The arrogance of people like DeLay really shines when it comes to critizing the Judiciary. They like to judge but not to be judged.

  • BUSH LIED -- THOUSANDS DIED

[Read the article: The deception Bush can't spin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Thousands of our young men and women - dead.

Thousands of Iraqi civilians - dead.

    Thousands maimed and crippled.

How much more does it take to shake off the smokescreen that this administration put forth?!

Somebody please just give him a BJ so we can start impeachment proceedings!!!

  • Believable...

[Read the article: George W. Bush on the lessons learned in Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    ...as he is a fuckwit.

  • Wow... he's good.

[Read the article: Scott McClellan: Plenty of criticism, no answers]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You've got to admit that anyone faced with a question that has an answer and can skate around and come back for an attack is pretty amazing... totally preposterous but still amazing.

How does that man sleep at night?!

  • Deaf, Blind and Dumb

[Read the article: Heck of a job, Rummy, Vol. 2]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

There is no limit to the shallow, vapid excuses this president can come up with. Rumsfeld probably never did offer to resign (seriously anyway) in the past... he knows he's got the VP in his camp.

  • Snow's Job...

[Read the article: The forecast calls for Snow -- now that his demands have been met]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Now the "snow job" that is a White House press briefing can be legitimized!

  • RESPECT!??!

[Read the article: A Democrat knocks Colbert, says Bush "deserves some respect"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That sonuvabitch sitting in the oval office deserves no respect! He's a disgrace the office!! Sen. Hoyer may be sincere in his feeling that the POTUS deserves respect--I will grant him that.

I would agree that the Presidency is a position that deserves respect... however when the person sitting in that position lies blatantly and continually he is showing great disprespect for this nation and ought to be tossed out with his henchmen.

  • And the Award for Best Parody of Someone Who Cares...

[Read the article: Can a Presidential Medal of Freedom be far behind?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

...sigh... it just never ends does it.

Maybe, if we're lucky, the metal from the medal will somehow interfere with Dick's pacemaker signal... as in give that ol' heart of his a jump-start so he can become a human!

  • Pants on Fire! ...again

[Read the article: Bush, confusing the issue, defends NSA program]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Having watched the video of our esteemed liar-in-chief it is painfully obvious that he believes he's doing what he must to protect us... unfortuneatly it is from him that we now need the protection.

Ever notice that his eyes shift right every time he lies?

Give me a call... we'll talk about our "plans".

  • Support our Troops... IMPEACH Bush

[Read the article: Pelosi: Impeachment is "off the table"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If you think about it impeachment would be too easy. Let's get an indictment for crimes against humanity.
