If there were any justice in the world, as O'Hanlon and Pollack described themselves as harsh critics of Bush their heads would have burst into flame at the pc and their wives would have run away with each other.
is gay.
you're writing a book about this, right? did you decide on a title?
matthews is a strange guy. the transparent absurdity of rich lowry questioning someone else's masculinity is completely lost on him. john edwards played football at clemson. whenever i see rich lowry i'm reminded of the scene in Office Space when Michael Bolton slumps in his seat and locks the door when he sees a black man on the sidewalk.
Whose Broad Stripes and Bright Stars? By Germond and Whitcover.

Listening to women talk is boring.
hawaii has played in a BCS bowl but they are not in a BCS conference, defined as a conference that gets an automatic BCS bid.

who's got low publishing standards?
max headroom is gay?!!?
that you are a human being. one quadrennial humorous column would be plenty though.
1. If a story involves either of the Clintons, make up whatever you want.
2. If you can't think of anything to write about, implicate one of the Clintons in a conspiracy.
3. If either of these rules conflict with your sense of integrity, please confirm that you are actually a journalist... thought not.
Laws are like cobwebs, for if any trifling or powerless thing falls into them, they hold it fast, but if a thing of any size falls into them it breaks the mesh and escapes.

every time one of these things slides out of wherever it slides out of you, obama is more popular and more successful than the last time you said he had mere days left in his political career. you are always wrong, and worse, you are always boring.
I appreciate the premise here, but it would be nice if this individual would take advantage of his or her anonymity and loosen up a little. I'm surprised anyone has heard about William Ayers given that the media didn't report anything about it. No amount of counterfactual daydreaming will ever establish a connection between Obama and Ayers. Stephanopolous asked about it in a debate. The media blackball on Ayers is just another conservative fantasy.
As for the story about Vicky Iseman, the story itself stated there was no evidence of a sexual relationship. It was his staff that insinuated that. If you want to talk about media bans, why is it that nobody ever thought to ask McCain why he was signing letters to the FCC drafted by Iseman on behalf of Bud Paxson? That was the real story, but everyone ignored it because McCain declared himself to be a media victim.
All in all, this column is an unilluminating waste of time. You owe America an apology for serving George Bush.
i would rather read a recurring column with nothing but 5,000 word descriptions of rush limbaugh's bowel movements that read one word of this idiocy ever again.
welcome to every day for the last 30 years.
any insights on the future of the newspaper business?
Glenn,
Given the attention you've received from media outlets like the New York Times and NPR, do you think it might be a good idea to dedicate a post to the questions you have about Judge Sotomayor's nomination? You've spent a lot of time and effort unpacking the questions that are currently dominating the national dialogue. Maybe if you focused on, forgive me, serious issues, others might follow suit.
