I would ask the guy that since he has "his spot", does he know where your spot is. Then smile politely and see what happens.
I've lived in a condo for five years & love it. There are no more or less crazy people than there are everywhere. As for interacting with neighbors...we nod, smile & say hello when we run into each other. Maybe talk about the weather if we're walking in the same direction. Other than that I don't "have" to interact with them. I pay my HOA dues. Each unit has a one car garage and the spot behind their garage. All other spots are wide open. I don't have problems, but apparently some people do, mostly because they have more than two cars or they don't park in their garages because they're too full of stuff or "too far" from their front door.
I'm lucky in that I have quiet neighbors.
I saw the opening bit to that Wife Swap show. They, as usual, pitted two extremes against each other. There was the storm chasing family and the other family was ultra over protective of their kids. Like most reality shows the producers strive for conflict, believing it makes better TV.
I hope the little boy is found safe & sound.
I can't decide which I hate more: the "teeth" ads or the "ripped body" ads. Ugh.

I think I knowwhat you meant but understand that ALL rape is violent, that's why it's rape.
I don't know the underpinnings of the relationship between this husband and wife, but if the letter is correct then it sounds like they've never really talked about the assault. This guy needs to talk to someone. He needs to speak his feelings and concerns out loud. If his wife won't talk about it (I wouldn't push her to), then go to a therapist.
I was raped 24 years ago, in a situation similar to what CabSav described. A man broke into my home and put a knife to my throat. He turned out to be a serial rapist; I was the first reported in a string of rapes that summer. One of the many things I learned was that people need to talk to someone. When I told my close friends about the assault I was sure to tell them they could talk to someone (with each I knew who that would be...a wife, husband, close friend, etc). This letter writer says that he's never talked to anyone about it. He needs to.
CabSav be good to yourself and know that it gets easier.
I watched the SciFi channel's marathon of the 1980's "V" series yesterday. Now I don't have any interest in the new version. After all, they can't possibly have anyone who compares to Marc Singer.
I don't have HBO any longer, but when I did I could only watch a few eps of Curb...Larry David was just too much of an self center, self deluded idiot for my tastes.
I support the woman who wants/needs an abortion. After all, she is the pre-existing condition.
When I click on "continue reading" it takes me to the next article rather than the rest of this article.
Mark, how could you not know who Laura Ingraham was, being in the business you're in.
The IFC channel has been airing the original on Friday nights lately. Good fun watching it again.
I can't imagine anyone else being No. 6.
Do you happen to be the guy who answered questions as the Republican who wouldn't give his real name? I don't remember what that column was called in Salon, but it didn't seem to last too long.
Either way, congrats on losing the extremist wingnut views and good luck with living down your quote disparaging women.
Are there really that many people looking to "adopt" frozen embryos from other couples? Why don't they adopt children that have been born already and need homes. It's my understanding that many couples go through the whole frozen embryo process because they want THEIR DNA, not someone elses, so presumably they don't want another couples cast offs.
It appears that this new show is on at 11pm ET. Huh? Not going to get much of an audience at that time. But I'm sure, Bravo being Bravo, they will reair the ep many, many times throughout the week.
She's bringing her book tour to a Borders in my small city this week. Not sure why we got picked, but I'll be interested to see what comes of it.
Research and science is an evolving thing particularly when it comes to medicine and cancer.
I've been getting my mamograms regularly for 12 years, just as was the recommendation when I turned 40. And I can't recall off the top of my head how many times I've been called back because something "suspicious" was seen. I've had biopsies and sonograms and repeat mamograms. It's always been nothing. I, for one, am glad to hear this news. Of course, my anecdote is no more significant in this whole thing than Mary Elizabeth's.
The real problem is that we are trained to believe one thing and then suddenly it changes. That's hard to deal with. It's happened before and it will again.
Ahh, so that's what this mysterious Park Slope is. I've seen it referenced recently and didn't have a clue until I read this.
After reading this piece, it seems clear that this is a NY problem. You know, not everyone lives in NY. So not all of us get bent out of shape about this stuff.
And what kind of a moron wouldn't give a seat to a pregnant woman.
