Aren't we already giving "government handouts" to the undeserving, thanks to the Republicans?

Aren't we already giving "government handouts" to the undeserving, thanks to the Republicans? Their irresponsible financial policies led to hefty payments to the financial institutions, recently. The biggest beneficiaries of Mr. Bush's Medicare part D are the the insurance companies. During his day Bush 43 recommended "giving" to the charities. Most of these charities are run by very well-paid folks and I doubt if more than 20% of the money collected by these charities goes to the deserving people, the needy. These are the few examples that I could muster, coming out of my gaga state.

Oh yes tax breaks for the wealthy so that they could stash their money away somewhere abroad for more lucrative returns while the Republicans would keep telling us that benefits will trickle down to us.

Let kids be kids

One word: Exploitation.

Someone once told me that the West was exploiting women in the name of freedom. According to this person women were given freedom to display their bodies so that money could be made off of them. From the looks of it the exploitation now begins very early. Though I do not think there is a big conspiracy involved. There are a lot of money-hungry sharks out there looking for a bite. They would try to use anything that can attract attention when displayed, if it's some young innocent things then so be it. Though of course it is deplorable to see that really attractive innocence is masked with makeup and false teeth, and charming spontaneity is marred for the sake of an orderly display. I would say let kinds be kids for God's sake, make your money elsewhere.

Fear of losing freedom+ fear of losing life = War mania against Iraq

Well, as far as I am concerned, the equation says it all. The trouble is that we are so worried about losing our freedom that any two bit conman can think up a trick to get us all riled up about any "enemy". Most of us do not even bother to ask if the portrayed threat is real. But if the fear of life is added to it we just go crazy and start chanting "kill" "kill". So perhaps those who wanted to rout Iraq did their homework well.

To the person who mentioned Mr. Cheney may like to read this: www.lohar.com/Cheney.pdf

The title of this article is: I support Mr. Cheney! But do not let the title deter you.
