No Elvis to say the least

This is really getting ridiculous! I was third row at an Obama rally and he does not have such a magnificant voice as you sychophants say. Of course it is deeper than Hillary's, you misogynists. There were also several students that collapsed and a girl that outright fainted. Only thing is this happened 2 hours before he even arrived. The gates opened at 9:30 a.m. and he did not speak until Noon. It was hot as hell outside and the crowd had to stand all smushed together because no general seating was provided. He is not Elvis or the Beatles for God's sake. This was a rally of maybe 3000 and yet they did not even know what to say when he said "Fired UP". He had to teach them the chant. What I do give him points for is appearing on college campus where students get excited about visitors and then having an early voting place right there in the School Library where they can go vote while they are "Ready to Go". I think he is more of a media phenom than anything.

Pointing the Finger

A whole article on Bumper Stickers just to get to the intended point which was to bash Hillary again. Sounds like you suffer from the same problem as you accuse Hillary of.

Obama/Reagan

The most disturbing thing to me is all the media comparing Obama to Reagan. I am someone who is not sold on Obama even after seeing/hearing him in person and reading both his books and I feel a little vindicated as I saw through Reagan from the start. I hope I am wrong about Obama but I think Hillary and SNL got it right, he is getting a free ride. I think that free ride will end when/if he goes up against McCain in the general election. I want desperately for a Democrat to win but I have a bad feeling about this election.

Political Suicide

You lost me after the first paragraph. Obama was free to oppose the Iraq war with no repercussions because at the time he did so he was not a Senator. This so rarely pointed out and I expect better of Salon. Representing the district where 9-11 happened it would have been political suicide for Hillary to oppose the war. Maybe that makes her a sell out but I bet Obama would have done the same.

Fresh Meat

Everything negative that could possibly be said about the Clintons has already been said. Obama is fresh meat. If he wins things should get very interesting.

No Way

There is a lot of animosity between Latinos and Blacks. Many Latinos are easily swayed and they are being targeted by unscrupulous political hacks to believe that Obama is anti-American, non-Christian and a danger to the country. Have you ever picked up a Free Spanish language newspaper. I don't know who funds them but they lean heavily to the Right in their news stories. This could be a deciding factor in the race if he becomes the Democratic nominee.

Keep the Bad News Coming

What comes around goes around and I would love to see Merrill Lynch taken down a few more notches. Anyone that does business with them is asking for it.

No Surprise Here

I never liked or understood the popularity of the Peanuts strip. I hate to see people being mean to each other even if they are only cartoon people. It was the same negative themes over and over and I particularly disliked the televised cartoons. It does not surprise me that Schulz was the person the author uncovered. Selfish, mean and depressed just like his characters. These characteristics may have been his own uncontrollable personal demons, but what does it say about our society that we made this cartoon so popular and it's author so rich?

PET PEAVE

My spouse had a money clip he got as a gift and he loved it because it actually worked right. It had a nail file in between it and he either had to throw it away or let them break off the file. He chose the later and they bent it all to hell rendering the money clip part useless. What a waste and what a shame.

Me, well I have bilateral knee replacements and have to have a full body search every time I fly. I hate it and it is absolutely ridiculous. First I have to take off my shoes and sit down and lift my feet so they can wand them and that leaves me walking barefoot and open to catching God knows what. It is a waste of time and money and I resent it more and more each time I fly.

F**K Bill Maher

It is a little late for this bozo to get me on his side. I watched his show religiously until 2000. All during the election cycle he BASHED THE HELL OUT OF GORE night after night. He also had Anne Coulter on every other night and he let her have her Right Wing say over the other guests. Also from watching him I noticed that "it takes one to know one" because if there was ever a closeted homosexual it is him. He is a F***ing loser and he does not deserve any respect.

IF EVER

For anyone that was paying attention the threats that Bush made to other countries to make them play along with his war were published on websites on the internet. It is funny how the things you read from Greg Palast or Wayne Madsen don't end up in the mainsteam media for two to three years, if ever.
