No matter the fortune, or lack thereof?, there is in black women's propensity toward large backsides, you need to learn a little appreciation for the beauty in our bodies--in all our shapes. Instead of bashing Buffy, be a more creative "journalist" and find a better way to deliver the message that Black people--as a whole--need to take better care of ourselves. (cuz black men are no better at taking care of their prostates as we are our waistlines) Oh, and a campaign for more open access to healthcare for blacks, Hispanics, and the poor wouldn't hurt either. You need to have a sit-down with Dr. Ian Smith....

You need the support and to lessen the pressure of keeping this terrible secret from them. They--and you--deserve a holistic approach to your addiction. Your courage in asking/speaking out is a grand first step and I commend Cary for the careful approach taken in responding to you.

All the memorials and Star Spangled Banner renditions played in memory of those lost in 9/11, will not ever heal those who suffered that day first hand--and survived. You will make it! In addition to your alcohol therapy/AA, it may help you to seek out support groups for 9/11 survivors.
