A new low in Clinton bashing

Joan, you are truly "Joan of Arc" I read your article and after seing all the posts criticizing you, I am more convinced than ever that the Democrats will blow this election again. It is ridiculous to think that the Clintons are racist and evil.

I agree with you that the more Obama supporters trash the Clintons the more it becomes impossible for her supporters to have the passion to vote for Obama come November. I know from discussions I have with a good number of Democrats that their hatred for Bush is not enough to force them to vote for Obama if Hillary whom they feel passionately about is thrown into the dustbin of history by the latte liberals in the media.

The Democrats do not learn from history. The media convinced Al Gore to choose Liberman on the account of how much the public hate Clinton. The rest is history. They are making the same mistake and they will live to regret. The Mathews and the Olbermans are doing more harm by this outrageous anti-Clinton diatribe than anything else.

Blow-back from Clinton supporters hurting Obama

I received a phone call today from the Democratic Congressional Committee for funds to help support congressional members for congress. I must say a lot of us Democrats who have supported Democrats over the years are very disillussioned with the congressional leadership of Nancy Pelosi and I am not alone. Her utterances, not counting her performanceincampaign is beneath that of a leader who wants to unite the party. When it was asked of her whether the unity ticket of Obama/Clinton is still alive she emphatically said no. What does she know that we don't?

Elections are about passion and how voters feel about a candidate. The assumption is that when her choice Obama becomes the nominee all Democrats will unify against the Republicans. Gosh, these people do not learn from history. When I asked the person why Pelosi thinks the ticket is dead, he replied that because of Obama's lack of military credentials, he has to select someone with military credentials to counteract McCain. I told him good luck. You are letting McCain and the latte liberals in the media set the agenda. Was Kerry not a military man? What happened. This is the reason since 1980 that Democrats have lost presidential elections since 1980 until Clinton, a centrist Democrat came to their rescue. Well, another cycle and people will remember this post after November.

Why not let Clinton keep the four Michigan delegates

And you all call yourselves Democrats? With the liberal pundits stoking the fire of anti-Clinton rhetorics, Obama has his work cut out for him. The fact is Obama is the presumptive nominee and from all the media reports has enough superdelegates waiting in the wings to bust open the flood of endorsements. Why then ask for 4 delegates to be added to your total? What is the point when you are leading your opponent by wide margin and from the experts only a miracle( which in itself is a mathematical impossibility) can save Clinton?

Clinton supporters are not your enemies, Obama supporters. They are Democrats who you have more in common than the Republicans. Now grow up before you give the election to McCain. If you think you can propel Obama to a win by yourselves or think that come November, Clintons supporters will automatically support Obama think again. When all the stars were aligned for Democrats, Dukakkis, Gore and Kerry all lost; please don't make it another cycle and pipe down the venom. Even Obama has changed his tune from arrogantly declaring that Clinton supporters will support him but he is not so sure about his own supporters supporting Clinton.

Even Congressman Clyburn, who has led the anti-Clinton bashing and smearing (although he conveniently claims he hears from other people)has promised to work with the Clintons to unite the party. You all need to grow up, and fast.

Original article: Oh no they didn't

Oh no they didn't

To all Obama supporters, who are bashing Joan, pipe down. I mean it is amazing how childish some of you are to think that you are still campaigning against Hillary Clinton. You may think that in your numbers populating all liberal blogs and bashing anybody who says anything in support of Clinton, you do not need any Democrat but yourselves to win the national election, think again.

Elections are about passion merely dangling the threat of supreme court nominees and the threat from continuation of the war with McCain's victory is not enough. Some of you who are old enough would have remembered President Gore or recently President Kerry. So tone down your continuous bashing of other Democrats who may rightly have disagreed with you on who the Democrats should choose as a nominee. With such immature and petulant attitude from some of you Obama has his work of uniting the party cut out for him.

The nomination for the Party is over. Your candidate won, so stop behaving like you are still campaigning for the Party ticket and focus all your energy on the general election and McCain rather than dissecting and ascribing every conceivable ill-motive to every Joan Walsh posting. But then again, we are Democrats noted for finger-pointing and blowing every opportunity even when all the stars are configured nicely in our favor ala 1988,2000, 2004, or 2008?

Tin-eared at MSNBC

Joan, why are you surprised? How is this statement different from Obama's assertion that while Clinton's supporters will willingly come and support him should he win the nomination, he is certain his supporters may not support Clinton? In both cases, the arrogance is breath-taking.

It explains why it is now being claimed that the former Clinton chief strategist, Patty has been tapped as the chief of staff for the Obama's likely V.P, effectively thumping their noses at Clinton and his supporters. I have said and will say again, Democrats never learn from history and despite everything going swell for them, history is about to repeat itself and is not pretty. You will remember this post.
