What I think is that there are 3 Medias ... Corporate , Right and Left ...
The corporate plays the right against the left while protecting Big Pharma , HMOs and the Congressional Military Industrial Complex.
All the ' Experts ' who got Iraq wrong are back again in spades . The Health Care debate is alll but ignored . There is NO questioning of military spending while SChips gets heavy scrutiny ...
It is Corporate Media that is the problem ...

John Perkins showed how the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund were used to cause economic and financial turmoil in countries around the world .
Now Naomi Klein shows how and what techniques were and are being used to psychologically devastate a society when either a man made OR natural disaster strikes a country.
Indeed we can remember the aftermath of 9/11 when the Bush Administration pushed through tax cuts and the Patriot Act , both of which are still with us ... Shock Doctrine 101.

The IMF is treading very lightly in public to assuage the markets. In private they know that
these bubbles in the financial sector can and probably will bring on a financial meltdown.
Food inflation throughout the world is rising dramatically. Most of China's inflation , as well
the rest of the world is in food . Italy recently hhad a one day pasta strike . Singapore has
the highest inflation in 12 years due to food ...
Of course our inflation is very low , because food and fuel are taken out of the equation that
measures core inflation ...
When one looks at our GDP and adjusts it for inflation we have been in recession for many
months now .
If the Fed lowers rates without strong structural changes to the regulatory system the
bubble will only get bigger ...
