Lame Article

No one really cares whether any of these guys served in Vietnam. Service in Vietnam (in 1969) was the centerpiece of John Kerry's 2004 campaign --- few people knew what his positions were on current events, but everyone knew he served in Vietnam (and that Bush did not).

Lack of Vietnam service did not prevent Bill Clinton from the White HOuse either. Democrats would be wiser to emphasize more current issues rather than to refight Vietnam - a war they can never win.

Original article: Angry women? Not so fast

Well Honey, if the shoe fits.....

By voting "present," writing in Hilary, and all the supposed alternatives all indicate that they are so full of resentment that they don't mind McCain winning (with his own anti-choice and other objectionable positions and those of S.C. justices that he will appoint).

Hopefully they will come to their senses b4 November.

Crybaby

It sounds like you think McCain has some kind of obligation to suspend his campaign --- even though Obamessiah is in effect, campaigning overseas

PUMAs

In answer to the the woman who wondered why Pelosi asked Clinton to quit the race -- it may have had something to do with Obama having accumulated an insurmountable lead in delegates to the convention by winning caucuses in primaries.

The cattiness of the PUMAs is the bitter fruit of the identity politics (now on steroids) that has characterized the Democratic Party for the last 30+ years.

Its not even about women's rights or interests, or promoting laws favorable to women. These women feel abused because a little over 1/2 democratic primary/caucus voters didn't vote for their candidate --- the only possible reason is misogyny.

MEE-YOW!

Original article: Say it ain't so, Joe!

What to do?

Lieberman may be less trouble for the Dems "inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in" to paraphrase LBJ.

In the pic accompanying the article he looks so pleased to be next to some fresh, young pussy!

*Americans* are breaking for Obama

So why should Jews be any different?

Also, its hard to see how "Bad for America" (McCain/Palin) could possibly translate into "Good for Israel."

Dat Michelle sho' a fine piece o' ass

So this is what Salon has come to.

Erin Aubry Kaplan talents would be better utilized writing for "Black Butt" magazine.

Perhaps the letter writer would be be pleased ......

if on his first day in office, Obama issued a Presidential Proclamation declaring 70% of African Americans to be bigoted scum (for backing Prop 8)

"Endangering the Country"

If choosing subpar candidates was an indictable offense (as Joe Conason would like to see) few political operatives would be living outside prison walls. John Edwards is like Sarah Palin with a dick!

he's an a-hole

Its easy to desecrate sacred objects of religions not your own, but lets see him urinate on a Torah scroll. Of course, he would never do so to a Koran, that would be Islamophobic
