@walter_map re Elephantman
[Read the article: The parade of "shrill, unserious extremists" on display at today's impeachment hearings]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]“You lie very poorly, despite all the practice you get. Have you considered employment more suited to your talents, like making license plates?” -- walter_map
Close, Walter; but no cigar…
However, you didn’t get the lying part wrong.
Elephantman is actually a zealous supporter of all things Republican, an active Zionist and a member of the College Republicans. You know, those chickenhawks exposed by Max Blumenthal:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/max-blumenthal/generation-chickenhawk-t_b_56676.html
He may be better known in that circle-jerk as Adam Brickley, see here:
http://web.uccs.edu/collegerepublicans/members.htm
Click on the link at his name in that link , or use the next link here to get a glimpse of something else (aside from trying to sucker Democrats on their votes) he thinks he’s good at:

Of course, he is AKA Elephantman:

As he has in the past, he will probably deny this identity, while admitting to having a common political persuasion as that of Adam Brickley. A distinction of convenience without difference.
I don’t get a chance to read much of Glenn or post here much anymore and must leave now; but why does anyone even bother to answer this twit?

More from “that” constituency…

Perhaps there’s some hope for these folks. They may not know what hemisphere Spain is in; but at least seem to understand it’s a U.S. ally.

Hey, it’s a time-honored Republican tradition….
[Read the article: McCain loses again]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When you’re deep in the doo-doo, call out the plumbers. Going back to Nixon and his “plumbers”.
So this guy is a registered, but “undecided” voter from Holland, Ohio? As far as registration in that venue, it seems he may not even exist:

The smiling face of hatred and intolerance….
[Read the article: Your "anti-America" is my campaign finance bonanza]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If the congress lies down for remarks of this type from a fellow member, they are simply lending credence to them.
Urge congress to take action:

Colin Powell also loves watermelon, dontcha know?
[Read the article: Powell endorsement incites right-wing rage ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Diane Fedele just released another food stamps cartoon with watermelon, fried chicken, kool aid and Colin Powell’s picture. She also has her “apologies to anyone offended” press release ready in case anyone from that other universe happens to notice.
You betcha!

Not embarrassed to admit that…
[Read the article: "I'm Joe the Plumber"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am fraud.
I am liar.
I am fake.
I am sham.
I am counterfeit.
I am shameless.
I am, after all, maverick.
And I can expose my ass crack better than “Joe the plumber”.
-
Okay, that’s it….
[Read the article: McCain: Western Pa. "most God-loving, most patriotic part of America"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It’s time to cue up the McCain Viagra commercials.
Oh, wait, we may still get to see his version of this:

The training starts early…..
[Read the article: Was McCain volunteer attacked over bumper sticker?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Brian Lupiani (facetiously, I’m sure) asked:
“Why are there College Republicans? Shouldn't all Republicans of that age be in the armed forces, fighting The War To Save Civilization From Scary Islamofascists And/Or Muslim Socialists Who Want To Cut Off Our Heads And Destroy Our Way Of Life?”
No, because they all have “good reasons”:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFGit_tZDqs
They ARE wearing flag pins and cowboy hats. What more do you want?
Besides, you could get mugged and all carved up and stuff in Iraq or Afghanistan, dontcha know?
Who would then take up the fight for “Joe the plumber”?
And yes, Sarah Palin WAS “VINDICATED” by the bipartisan report on Troopergate.
Here’s another interesting question. How do these clowns manage to blatantly defy reality, logic and common sense by showing up in the media repeating obvious lies, presenting false equivalencies and dancing on the heads of pins while trying to defend/justify their failed policies and frequently criminal behavior?
The answer is in the title.
Prediction: The fact that she has admitted to the hoax will not cause the GOP twisters and spinners to relent from what has become a thoroughly indoctrinated and involuntary reflex.
This one may be a job for Elephantman.

She still has a future…
[Read the article: Report: Todd confesses to making up ATM attack]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She can always team up with “Joe the plumber” on a book deal.
Or maybe even a run for congress:
http://briefingroom.thehill.com/2008/10/24/joe-the-plumber-says-hes-mulling-run-for-congress/
America, the land of opportunity and blatantly stupid opportunists.

Regarding Elephantman’s “true identity”….
[Read the article: Sacking Saxby: VoteVets goes on attack]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It really is irrelevant. A classic case of distinction without a difference.
He has already acknowledged agreement with his Colorado Springs alter-ego.
Before posting about Elephantman’s curious resemblance
to Palin’s Immature Moronic Promoter in this link:
http://letters.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/07/25/fein/permalink/145c54b96d5c710198817bf81527d848.html
I engaged him in May of 2007 in a Salon thread about another of his heroes, Paul Wolfowitz. For those curious about how he sees the world I encourage you to click on this link and check out the dialog between us:
http://www.salon.com/tech/htww/2007/05/17/wolfowitz_resigns/index.html
It’s really fun reading; but for those not inclined, just let me say it resulted in an amusing exchange in which I eventually asked if he was that infamous little chickenhawk he has consistently denied being. He accused me of “obsessing” about him (no, really, he did) while also saying:
“Anyway, it isn't me, and I have no idea who that person is, however agreeable he may be.”
In his newfound candor about GOP mistakes and missteps, has he yet acknowledged that McCain’s selection of the “MooseStress” may have been misguided?
Maybe he just hasn’t seen Amy Poehler’s brilliant rap characterization on SNL that so completely sums up her qualifications.
Or maybe plausible deniability has limits even in his world.
