Dear Sirs and Madams,
Why is the press and Salon.com giving so much attention to Ted Stevens? Is it to make it obvious, that the man is the south end of a north-bound horse? Unblievable!

Mr. Lieberman is no Democrat. He is no Mensch. He's a full grown toadying idiot, who may be "running for Secy. of Defense," I personally, would like to see him run for dog catcher. I assure him, I wouldn't vote for him, even for that job. I like dogs too much!

Dear Mr. Grieve,
I support Google 100% on this refusal. This time W. and his cronies haven't even got the weak excuse, that it has to do with Homeland Security. For that matter, if they are really interested in determination of how easy it is to find porn on the internet, all they need do is log on!
My own suspicion, is that they have logged on and frequently and already know this. After all, most Americans are well aware of the status of porn on the net.
I'm thinking seriously of doing all my searches on Google, from now on.
Thank you for this contribution to our real freedoms and for the many others you have posted. Keep up the good work.

Dear Fellow Conservatives,
As to Joe Conason going to the W.H. to demand the answers that don't seem to be available, Has it occurred to you that Joe counldn't get into the White House briefings? THey pick and chose and that is one reason the W.H. Press Corps appears to be a bunch of whimps (with the obvious exception of Helen.)
Dear Sir,
Speak French? The man can hardly speak English and as to his Spanish (were he claims fluency) it's almost as bad as his English.
Dear Justice Thomas,
In view of your role in getting us into this mess, in the first place, wouldn't it be more appropriate to express some 'buyer's remorse'?
When Mr. Bush gets done assuming the responsibilities of the legislative branch, the judicial will be next. That, on the other hand, may not be necessary, if nobody explains to him, that 'Signing Statements' do not constitute Constitutional Law.

Dear friends,
I think it is too easy, to blame the failure in the last election to Kerry's failure to dispute the Swiftboat horse feathers. It would have been very difficult to do a better job, than the Washington Post did at the time and nobody paid very much attention, because the Mediawhores did not pay much attention. They would have treated any rebuttle from Kerry the same way.
"Never wrestle with a pig. You both get filthy and the pig likes it!"
The real failure of the 2004 campaign was that too many Democrats took seriously the advice, that the right-wing gave us, that if we didn't remain gentlemanly we would be rejected by the undecideds. Who, in his right mind, thought, that the likes of Limbaugh and Cheney were handing out winning advice to the Democrats? I'm afraid, we're headed down the same road again in 2006. Just last week, the same bastards appeared to rejoice in Pelosi's outspoken behaviour.
The answer, my friends, was given to you several years back, when Dr. Dean said, "A little candor for a change." It's time to give them a little Harry Truman treatment and I mean now.

Dear Mr. Grieve,
I'm sorry to inform you, but you are aiding and abetting a first class liar. To say that Iraq is "on the verge of civil war," seems to me to be less than perceptive. There exists a situation, in which a large fraction of the population are killing as many members of another ethnic group and vice versa. These murders are daily and clearly are related to the question of who is going to benefit from the peace, should it ever come. If that's not 'civil war' then what in Hell is?
The civil war has clearly started and is picking up more and more violence every day.

There can be no doubt, that the right wing of the Republican party, who were most responsible for the election defeat, have a vested interest in keeping the rest of the Republican party believing that they are indispensable. They clearly are not.
Furthermore, if you are searching for a shred of honesty in David Brooks, you would be more likely to succeed in seeking the Holy Grail in a garbage dump.

For 2 reasons, I would support Mr. Murtha. First of all, I believe, that the party needs people with the guts to fail to follow the Republican advice to 'play nice.' Where was Mr. Hoyer during the last months of battle over ending this outrageous war? Mr. Murtha has one of few spines left in the party. Where has Mr. Hoyer been during all of this?
Secondly, Ms. Pelosi has the same rights as anyone else in the Senate-to-be. I think it would be a very bad mistake to start off as Speaker, by doing what everyone else (and the media whores in particular) wants
her to do. As Howard Dean said so eloquently, "A little candor for a change!"
I would also add, that those who raise the Abscam crap, Mr. Murtha did not bite on that deal. Let's stop letting the corporate-favoring media tell us what we ought to do. They are not on our side!
