  • She didn't win. He can't.

[Read the article: Viva Hillary Clinton!]

Amazingly, there are still democrats out there who believe that Barack Hussein Obama (Oops! I said his middle name - I know that's off limits! Sorry!) will win the general election and electoral college vote despite his race (Oops! I mentioned his race - I know that's off limits! Sorry!) and the fact that the polls are showing his failure to take key demographics - demographics needed to win in th electoral college.

Stupid (Oops! I mentioned that his supporters are stupid! I know that's off limits! Sorry!) democrats who elect an empty suit (Oops! I mentioned his complete lack of any accomplishment! I know that's off limits! Sorry!) for a nominee shouldn't be shocked when his totals compare with Dukakis and McGovern. I'd like to thank the liberal wing of the Democratic Party for nominating a guy who carries with him so many taboo subjects that I'm surprised his supporters can find something to post about. He can't win. Shame on any of you for pushing this untested, unvetted (wait until you see Michele's video where she's screaming about 'whitey' - they're waiting to release that until, what, October?) flavor of the month during the most important time in this country's history.

None of the uncommitted delegates votes count until they cast them. By August, the emperor will have no clothes.......

  • The General Election

"Wilentz: If the Democratic candidate doesn't do better than John Kerry did with white voters in 2004, then forget it. Kerry was clobbered among white voters by George W. Bush.

    Teixeira: 17 points. Among whites.

Wilentz: I thought it was 23.

Teixeira: Among white working class it was 23 points.

Wilentz: You can't do much worse than that."

Yes, you can. Watch. We're f#cked.

  • Oh, well....

[Read the article: Barack Obama's epic win]

I was hoping the Democrats would win in November. I hope President McCain doesn't pick too bad a nominee for the Supreme Court......

  • Tony's going to jail

Wonder if Barack Obama still fondly remembers the day he invited Tony Rezko over to see the house he, his wife, and his children would be living in.........because Tony just got convicted for practicing the kind of politics that need to be changed - and Barry Obama never made a move to change anything about Rezko all the years he was in the shadow, and the debt, of that felon.....

  • Tony Rezko

[Read the article: The other 18 million]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Tony Rezko was the sponsor and chief mentor of Barry Obama up until not too long ago. He just got convicted of practicing the kind of politics that, um, need change. But all the time Barry was at his knee and in his debt, Barry didn't utter a peep about his influence peddling, bribe soliciting felonious friend - didn't say a word.....The Audacity of Corruption, huh?

    Hellooooo President McCain!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm from Illinois, where politics are played so dirty you get convicted and go to federal prison. But that's the old politcs - the very politics that Obama hopes to change. I hope he can, but I'd like him first to explain why he was with Tony Rezko all those years - why Rezko and he were so close, so tight for all those years. Why Barry Obama (as he was known to Rezko) chose to have Rezko as his campaign finance director when everyone where I'm from knew he was a dirty guy?

He's not only a politician, he's a corrupt one, at that. We're f#cked, because people never vetted this empty, bribe-taking suit.

  • The Bright Side

[Read the article: Democrats, put down your swords]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I celebrate the fact that a nominee of my party is not white; this could not have happened a decade ago. I mourn the fact that, at a time in our history when we need to drastically change the course of this country, we've nominated not a policy wonk but a candidate who can be seen as an empty suit. He skews away from the demographics we need to win the electoral college; he is easily and narrowly defined by the opposition Republicans; he is at risk from dark perceptions fueled by nefarious as well as well-meaning associates; his lack of a sharply defined national identity offers a chance for a conglomerate media machine to create a poor one. In short, as a candidate, he mirrors McGovern and Dukakis. He may be the one we've been waiting for, but I could have easily waited a while longer.

During the long summer leading up to the convention, and during the dying fall when his candidacy slowly strangles on the harsh realities of racial division, I shall concentrate on the message his candidacy sends to the world - that when America was in terrible trouble, a great deal of the country's populace looked beyond the color of their skin to solve our problems.

  • Obama and Daley

[Read the article: Democrats, put down your swords]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bill Daley, the mastermind behind the machine which robs the Chicago electorate of any meaningful choice and supports the same policies that elevate money over the welfare of the people, is the National Co-Chair for Barack Obama's campaign. That's not change - that's a dangerous indication of who the candidate is and what he believes in. He's just another politician, and one with corrupt and nefarious ties (Tony Rezko and the Daley Machine). Shame on all of you who bought his bullsh#t.

  • Same Old, Same Old

Pretty much the same kind of tripe that all Obama supporters have spewed. Because he hasn't done anything substantive besides his "victory", and he stands for nothing, and he's got no history, all of his supporters routinely fill in the blank -because it's all bullsh#t, Obama can be anything to anyone, never two the same. So I'm hardly surprised. I've been hearing this crap for almost a year. I hope he's just 1% of what people have pretended he is, but I doubt it.
