  • Obama refuses interviews re Rezko/Iraq Billionaire involved in Obama land deal??

[Read the article: Obama's got ground game]

Or, was the plan for Obama to be a tool for Iraqi businessmen to dictate policy with Iraq in a sort of Bush-Halliburton reversal of fortunes? See article below.

Obama, to date, has refused to give the Chicago papers an interview directly on the Resko issue. Why? Obama should provide a sworn affidavit re his relationship with Rezko. Just because the costs outweigh the benefits for Rezko's creditors to pursue Obama, does not mean that the truth is not relevant. Why did Michelle go along with this Rezko ddeal???? Certainly, an accomplished professional woman like herself, who also happens to be a Harvard trained lawyer, smelled the appearance of impropriety. If it was a boneheaded mistake for Barack, what was it for Michelle ?? -- just do as my man tells me? Or, did two Harvard grads make a "boneheaded" mistake.

I wish the creditors trying to collect against Rezko cross-referenced all the people associated with Rezko, Obamas, Iraqi Billionaire, and start trying to unwind the connections. Too coincidental that Rezko has a similar pattern with Illinois' Governor. An background search showing associated people would provide a wealth of information when cross-referennced with newspaper reports, internet information, secretary of state records, name searches on legal research provider websites like PACER, Westlaw or Lexis.

Finally, why did Obama turnover the Rezko donated money to charity? Shouldn't he have put the money donated to him by Rezko into an escrow account so the creditors could petition a court to recognize their interests in the funds. It was clear in newsreports that the creditors were after Rezko.

    Tony Rezko's billionaire buddy

Tycoon who invested nearly $170 million in 62 acres in the South Loop -- land indicted fund-raiser had been trying to develop -- has been named by prosecution

    . . . .

The Iraqi-born billionaire -- who lives in London -- had come to Chicago on business. He would go on to invest nearly $170 million in a prime piece of vacant land in the South Loop -- 62 acres along the Chicago River that Rezko wanted to develop.

Now, Auchi is surfacing in Rezko's corruption case, set to go to trial Monday. Auchi is mentioned by prosecutors in the court filing that got Rezko's bail revoked and landed him in jail.Rezko was indicted in October 2006 in a scheme to shake down firms seeking state pension business to enrich himself and Blagojevich's campaign fund. He got $3.5 million from Auchi's company in April 2007 but never told a judge about it, raising concerns that Rezko, a native of Syria, might flee the country.Auchi wasn't accused of wrongdoing regarding Rezko. But he had faced legal troubles in Europe, prosecutors noted, having been "convicted several years ago in France on fraud charges" and sentenced to 15 months in prison, "but the sentence was suspended as long as Auchi committed no new crimes."

  • Overall, this article pretty favorable to Dems.

The clincher is without Microsoft, this computer I am typing on (and, usually typing too fast with abundant typos) would not be working. Microsoft has the ability to function well in several fundamentally important or what I would call foundational aspects of the Tech World. I will buy a MacBook only because it is compatible with Microsoft's operating system, since all my software is based on Microsoft's operating system. (I actually decided to stick with IBM/Lenovo because I knew it would not have glitches.) The irony is Al Gore is on the Board of Apple. So, it may be that Hillary, i.e., the Microsoft-like Brand, is the most universally appealing and could probably communicate with those that like the Apple brand just as well since she has that base of knowledge and familiarity that transcends just an I-pod or MacBook.
