Did that ad actually show a plane.... then wolves.... then a photo of Obama seeming to howl? Was I the only one expecting Sarah to lean out of the plane and take them out?

As a man who has too often been compared to a wolf (or other canine) I am outraged. OUTRAGED! These sexist ads have got to stop!

Does anyone know if the McCain campaign saw the questions before the interview? It seems very hard to believe that Palin pulled that Lincoln reference out of thin air. Rove probably wrote that line.

Yeah.. my wife and I noticed that too. Someone was too busy looking over his list of talking points to listen to what was being said. Also of note - the McSame campaign was launching videos of Obama saying thought "McCain is right" minutes after the debate ended. This seems to explain why he never admitted to agreeing with Obama's positions, even as he simply paraphrased Obama's answers as his own.

That just makes me sad. Thanks for the reminder of why I moved out of that city when I was 19. Any remaining guilt for moving to Minneapolis (and 300 miles from my family) so long ago just vanished. How my "big L" Liberal mother stays there is a mystery. (although Door County is nice)

I listened to 5 seconds of it. At least some studio musicians got paid to wank off. This is as much of a pure career move as McPain's "suspended campaign".

Seriously Joan? Is Newsweek (a rag that no literate person has read in over a decade) going to do a serious critique on the merits of Palin as politician without having a little fun? She's controlling the conversation quite well, and NW just followed suit with a photo that sums her up quite well.

So if Newsweek had instead run an article on the "Hottest Female Politicians of 2009" and used that photo you would have stayed silent?
