From What I Can Make Out
[Read the article: Hey, Obama boys: Back off already!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Many of the male Obama supporters are not necessarily anti-woman. But there may well be a closet gay element to them.

You Would Think
[Read the article: John McCain's bad week]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Iraq would have to benefit us in the election.
If it's Obama maybe not. If he's the nominee the last few weeks of the campaign will be nearly hysterical. Popular support for backing off in Iraq is one thing. A black guy "losing" in Iraq, who lectured in San Fransisco about redneck religion and guns in America, and not wearing a flag pin, and with a "God Damn America" preacher and a "proud for the first time" black wife is another thing.

Who
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Are your picks in the independent pro baseball leagues?
The picking stuff is getting out of hand. On ESPN now the baseball panelists now predict which individual batters and pitchers who will have a good game each day.

The Question Is
[Read the article: John McCain's bad week]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How many independents and moderates does the hysterical reach.

The Never Ending Predicting Game
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No matter who it is, they are gonna have a whole bunch of their picks turn out real bad and whole bunch real good.........And the entire thing rests on the foundation that the ones that turn out good somehow enhance or even prove their other sports opinions that are not predictions.
-
If You Had To Pick
[Read the article: John McCain's bad week]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The absolute worst time-situation for the first serious general election black candidate for President, it would be in the middle of a war, with him taking the anti-war position.

We Just Went Through This
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]With Earl Clark at Louisville. He announced he was going pro and the call in shows were beyond belief. One after another about how this part or that part of his game is not ready. Some of the calls were almost desperate. Grown men. Saying they hoped Earl was listening, like their fan hooey would change his mind. Turn down the 30 grand per week pay checks Earl. Come back to history class at 8:00 in the morning and score baskets for Louisville for free to enlarge our fan egos. We are worried about you as a person too. Education is most important.
It's all total crap. The fan has no idea if he "is ready." And doesn't give a rats ass about Earl's education or growth as a person. All the fan knows is that he is a damn good player and with him gone Louisville's prospects for next year diminish greatly. And thus the fans ability to walk around with their chests puffed out and bragging is greatly diminished.
-
Similarly
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The next night the topic quickly went to calls for the NBA to not allow players in to the league until after their junior or even senior season, or until they reach the corresponding age. Once again, for the good of the players.
And once again total shit. Those fans just want a guarantee that once their team-school sweet talks one of the high school superstars into coming, that they will have them locked up for several years with no vicarious ego worries about them leaving. So they can brag and pound their chests. So that they can get a sense of accomplishment from what someone else does.
-
And Finally
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]A few calls hoping Earl falls flat on his face in the NBA and ends up playing in some European league. Teach him a lesson for walking away from all their care for him as a person..........What a disaster. Travel and see the world and make a 150 or 200 hundred grand a year playing hoops.

I Explained This Stuff A While Back
[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama's game is his mouth. And it was so well-received by his groupie followers it's gotten to the point where he thinks he can say anything and it will be followed by hallelujahs. Oh my, isn't it exciting, he's talking about these taboo topics. He's changing America. He's educating us.... And if the shit does happen to hit the fan, then he just comes out with another speech explaining the fuck-up, and that is followed by hallelujahs.

JMFQ
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't know about Dewey-Truman and modern elections........But one thing is sure as hell. Those first 10 or 15 Presidential elections where all the goobers ride in to town on their wagons and fill out their paper ballots and turn it over to the local hacks....ALL of those victories are questionable at best and can't be taken very seriously. Our hero founding fathers and such.

It's No Wonder
[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama has spoken of Reagan as one of his heros. Another television talker guy.

He Must Not Be Ready
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It can't be coincidence. It must be common knowledge that has to be accurate. Not one Louisville fan caller out of about a week worth of calls, said Clark is ready.

Maddie
[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Friends or not, if he gets the nomination he better offer Hillary the VP and pray she accepts. It's his only hope.

Frankly
[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm damn suspicious of anyone always trumpeting their truth telling. It's a sure sign they have no respect for the truth. Not to mention that usually there is no "truth."

The Restaurant Manager
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Calls in and says Clark is not ready. Not only can the guy tell you all the things the coach and players do wrong each loss that prevented victory, he's an NBA talent scout too.
