The Obama spokespeople talking to Canada saying the NAFTA stand is bunk, and the other one saying the Iraq pullout plan is bunk. Obama is never the one saying it. He doesn't know about it. Listen to his words.

I give you credit. I take it you are defedning Wright's statements. There is honor in that. Much more that just plain denying knowledge.

Let's just suffice to say that what Clinton and Obama have done and said, and what they are now saying and doing has all been done and said for their own political purposes, and what they felt either improved their position at the time or would do so in the future.

The holier than thou game is over. I think it's even finally starting to sink in to the Obama supporters now.

I think UK has a hell of a coach. If the fans can be patient it will pay off. Next year may be transistional too with Bradley and Crawford departing, and then Patterson may go pro after next year. It's hard these days to have all the personel issues fall into place at one time, Pitino has found that out at Louisville. But as soon as Gillispie puts it together they are going to be hellacious. He gets players to play hard. There's been more improvement in Bradley, Crawford, and Stevenson in this one year than they had shown total before.

Was as a youngster. The typical subdued, sleepy white church. I wore the little robes and lit candles. I forget the technical name of that position. While I was doing it I was just thinking about our previous or next little league game anyway.

It seems to me that just the regular menu, white or black church or pastor, is intellectually offensive. Virgin births. Raising from the dead. Fire below ground and angels somewhere out in space. Mass murder floods and floating zoos. A minute by minute, thought by thought, action by action report card being drawn up for 7 billion people.

When the regular menu is ridiculous, it's guaranteed that from time to time the half hour to hour long sermons will get pretty damn goofy and loud.

Much of what Wright said is more reasonable than the regular menu. I paraphrase. Wright's rhetoric is a little more flamboyant.

1.) The Government created disease to unleash on minorities........This one is kinda goofy.

2.) We, through Israel, have supported state sponsored terrorism against the Palestinians...........This one is worthy of debate. To us terrorism is a bomb under a coat in a restaurant. To them terrorism might be bulldozers rolling through villages with innocent casulaties in response.

3.) Muslim extremism is not caused only by guys that want to become ghosts and party with virgin ghosts. Some of the cause is linked to our foreign policy and actions over there..........This one is true.

4.) The American judicial system is weighted against blacks............This one is true.

To watch these Obama supporters lose their holier than thou act. He's a politician, jut like the rest of them.

They limit the episodes of Knight and Vitale in studio exchanges..........It's getting close to Vitale dropping to his knees and going for his zipper.

"He's giving a speech about it. Everything will be all right. I can feel my spine tingling already."

Hold your horses there cowboy....if this current situation chops Obama off at the knee caps, the nomination is hers.

The latest two general election hypothetical polls since this broke has Hillary doing better than Obama in one, and equal in the other.....Her lead among national dems has been increasing.

Obama as the nominee insures the last 3 weeks of the campaign, a bunch of undecideds, and one ad after another of Wright videos and defeat in Iraq.

I can just imagine you if Hillary had this pastor for 20 years and she said she didn't know about all of it but one before now.

The sit around and stew for a few days then the bell rings----I know, I'll give a spine tingling speech.

This stuff would get tedious in a general.

My impression is that if we elect Obama, evidently, partisanship and divisiveness between the two political parties will end, and the race problems in America will dwindle away............Do I get a free new Mercedes and a lifetime pass for wings, beer, and dates with the waitresses of my choice at HOOTERS too?

And yes, Obama gives terrific speeches.

Than Hillary is. Hillary is closer to the center.

I already said. He gives very good speeches. If he's the democratic nominee I'll vote for him.......But I have very strong reservations about whether he can win. At least the Obama supporters for the nomination have started to wake up here lately. They were in fantasyland for a good long while. They actualy thought it was going to be some moving speeches, the entire democratic party would jump on board, and then glide to November and win by landslide.

Is when it's over. Then we can finally, for real, determine who the best conference was, and second best and third.....by the results of just a handful of very specific one 40 minute game matchups of one tournament.

The rationalizations probably stop when Obama loses the general and his flock blames it on Hillary.

Obama could walk up to the microphone and fart, and we'd hear Hosannahs and Hallelujahs.

When he said he didn't know about Wright's sermons until he started running for President?

He said he was aware of one comment back at the start of his campaign....later in the same interview it was one or two....when did he say he knew of more?

But there's just a little too much holier than thou in Obama and his supporters for my nostrils. That's the thing I detest most about the right wing. But fear not, if Obama is the nominee I'll hold my nose and vote for him.
