There's No Telling

What the overall UK numbers would be if they had integrated fully earlier and told the SEC to go to hell.

They have the most NCAA appearances by quite a bit, but are not number one in titles, Final Fours, or final game appearances. Not even number two in some tourney categories.

Why? Because they dominated for so long all white, in an all-white conference, where everyone else just cared about football.

Just get ready. More quotes from this guy are coming. It's something the GOP will exploit for sure in the general so we may as well get on with it now. And it's the kind of thing that can sway a lot of voters too. It's another thing our superdelegates need to take into account for the general----Black guy with radical Pastor, fair or not, jusitified or not.

Yesterday's Topic Revisited

Yesterday Carlson had a segment about that one poll and how the war is now supported, and that is good for McCain. He had one guest, a democratic congressman, who in response to the first question conceded that the majority support it now.

It's incredible.

Let's Allow This Obama's Pastor Thing To Play Out

This could be huge.

"I'd feel more confident about my prediction that he'll (Obama)sweep all 50 states if I weren't so worried about Rhode Island"

Get out of fantasyland. Please.

I Regret To Inform You

That there's a big chunk of moderate to non-jihad conservative white voters that don't bat an eye at tax returns, but would cringe at radical Black preaching. Or something portrayed as radical Black preaching.

Okay

Penn was being sarcastic.

Friday, March 14, 2008 08:05 AM

It's Not A Joke

Wherever it comes from....The Obama crowd thinks they are going to win in a landslide.

The only definitive statement I can make at this point is that Obama will do well in the general in any states with caucuses.

Friday, March 14, 2008 08:20 AM

Cultural Amnesia

The argument is that in a general campaign the odds of Obama being chopped off at the knees are greater than it happening to Hillary.

No One Drove A Juggernaut Into An Iceberg

Most of the media decided early that Hillary was automatic and unbeatable. That's all.

Friday, March 14, 2008 08:39 AM

Filthy Harry

I still think that the republicans may end up launching a more hysterical, coordinated attack on Obama than they would against Hillary. We may as well gather up all the dirty laundry ourselves. See what it might mean.

Friday, March 14, 2008 08:44 AM

As I Have Said Before

Hillary could be the 2012 nominee even if Obama wins the Presidency.

Hutman

You should thank me for doing short posts.....That prevents you from having to go through your normal ritual of pathologically quoting and responding to 25 points.

jamartinjr

Please no. I don't want that on my conscience. Vote for hope and change. If it wins and Iraq is still going on in 4 years then you can re-evaluate.

When you assume.

Hillary Isn't Knee-Capping Obama

To win in 2012........She's knee-capping because it's 2008 and that's politics. That's the business they've chosen. Don't ask who gave the order. Because it has nothing to do with business.

It's been that way since the Founding Fathers. They were cut throat too, despite having acquired the legend of saintly angels.

Hillary's Big State Wins Were Not By Big Margins

Huh?

Friday, March 14, 2008 09:48 AM

Bush's Idea Of Romantic Battle

Or participation in leastways, is to promote anti-gay measures on state ballots to draw the base to the polls in order to win an election.

adam

I'm paying Glenn handsomely not to dump on Hillary.

Yeah Yeah Yeah

Rupp, the God of kentucky basketball wanted blacks for years and years..He just never got any.

If You'll

Check Kentucky team photos and playing time charts, the need to stay a certain percentage white remained long after Rupp.

Obama's Only Chance

Is for Hillary to get him ready.

The Racism Is Still Big

Pelphrey, Feldhaus, and Farmer, good ole country boys were granted immortal status along with the tag "unforgettables" (despite having forgettable stats and thank God there was one black guy, Sean Woods, to include so it wasn't so damn obvious)......and had their jerseys retired and hoisted in Rupp Arena for just making it to the elite 8. Which was the doing mostly of Mashburn. Before they got him, Pelphrey and Feldhaus and Farmer were losing 150-95 to Kansas.

In reality, UK would have been better with better talent around Mashburn.

If Ritchie Farmer Got His Jersey Retired

Mashburn, Kenny and Antoine Walker, and Wayne Turner should have 25 foot tall replica gold statues at the entrance to the Arena.

UK

Had one title between the late 50's and 1998. The largest contibuting factor for most of that period--racial.

In Respect To Paul

I believe he's a UK fan and a good guy too. UK as an institution at this point is past it. They hired a black head coach and have fielded monster teams with all black starters. Plus throughout the past racism has been everywhere, including big time in the city of my team, Louisville.

We Might Well Be Seeing

The initial stage of the Obama campaign imploding.

But what does Jeremiah Wright say about global warming?

Obama Has Staked It All On This

He never heard it and didn't know about it until he was a Presidential candidate. It's hard to swallow. If there is something out there clearly showing different he is toast. No more hope. Another Politician.

I Think The Obama Crowd Is Finally Waking Up

They really thought it was going to be some stirring speeches about hope and change and glide into the Whitehouse in a landslide. Welcome to reality boys and girls.

If This Thing Snowballs

And Hillary wins by 25 in Pennsylvania, what on earth is a superdelegate to think?

Friday, March 14, 2008 07:35 PM

shooter

I really like the Clintons and always will, but I saw a video once of Clinton golfing and as he swung through the ball he was reaching toward his pocket pulling out the mulligan. All in one continuous motion. It was a classic.

And Clinton Is The Rule Here

Not the exception. Take a video camera with zoom and hide behind some bushes on one particular golf hole at a public course for a full day and tape. Between not counting penalty strokes, picking up any putt inside of 3 or 4 feet and counting it as good, taking mulligans, and rolling the ball over in the rough to improve the lie for a better chance at solid contact---there is probably less than 1 percent of golf scores that are legitimate by the rules of golf.

Sometimes

I try to look at the world through the eyes of a woman. Watching the men. That could tend to produce misery.

Fester

Let that sucker keep talking. I'm in the Hillary campaign.
