Women Are Pretty Damn Smart

Right wing men may fool them for a little while, but fairly quickly the obnoxious and relentless hypocrisy hits them like a ton of bricks.

How About

Caminiti? He probably knew Kruk and McReynolds.

Coulter And Malkin

Are repulsive, but they'd have the sense to choose each other before Rush's mind and bod.

You force them into a spousal relationship with Limbaugh, and they'd have him castrated within 6 months. Figuratively for sure, with literal a possibility. And then dump him.

Watch These Right Wing Media Guys

Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh.....when they talk it's a steady stream of exaggerated hand motions.

I get tired of the Hitler comparisons on both sides, but the hand gestures for emphasis can be seen in all the past fascist leaders when they publicly speak.

Sorry, But I'm Going To Insist

That the Brewers finish above .500 for the first time since 1992 and the Cubs win their first World Series since Pre World War One before I'll get too hyped up about their smack exchanges.

In Sports Post Season Play

You just cannot have ejections. Not even for physical stuff unless it's completely overboard. That has to be virtually eliminated as a possible factor in deciding games and therefore possibly a series or the championship itself.

The league should have a rep at courtside to over-rule ejections on the spot.

And Certainly

No suspensions in the midst of post season.

Then you have gamblers running to their bookies to put bets down based on suspensions. It's absurd.

The Ref, Umps, And Officials

More often than not are stiff pricks anyhow. Their attitude fuels the confrontation.

All they have to say to complaining coaches or players is---Hey, this shit is happening fast out here. Great athletes. I'm doing my best and I make mistakes.

Our General Approach

On hockey, is if the final series goes to overtime in the seventh game, we'll give it a mention.

I'm Listening To The Red-Cardinals

Something happened that I have never understood. Bases loaded, no out, batter hits in to a 6-4-3 double play, run scores. That is not an RBI.

Why the hell not? He hit the ball and a run scored. So what if the infield was back and conceding a run (RBI).

Original article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily

It's Like

A double play is SO bad that we can't allow or acknowledge that anything good came from it.

Something Else

Just happened in the Cardinals game.....A wild pitch. Why isn't a wild pitch an error? It's a throwing error by the pitcher that allowed an advance.

Or a passed ball for that matter. Should be an error on the catcher.

I guess if they correctly put these in the error category the error number in the run-hit-error game synopsis would be too high too often and not look professional.

Well

Now that's it's been officially and publicly denied by everyone involved, we can probably take for granted it's true.

They Are Losing

I agree that the neocons, ultra-conservatives, and right wing bullies will remain in fantasyland until they are in a box underground.

But the republican party is paying a price for catering to these freaks.

My father is a retired doctor and lifelong republican. Not the jihad variety, but moderate. He's voted republican his entire life.

He is absolutely fed up. With the incompetent war, the intransigence, the non-stop playing of the troops and patriotism card, and even the fiscal policies. I've been shocked by some of what he has been saying lately.

He's just one guy, but I'm sure he represents a growing segment of todays GOP.

The Scary Thing

Is Guiliani. He's another reincarnation of John Wayne and if he wins he'll have to do something to show how tough he is even if it fucks things up even worse.

And it looks like he has a real shot to win.

I Don't Know

Why we always single out athletes.....The Beatles were trippin' when they did Lonely Hearts Club band....Edgar Allan Poe was a druggie when he wrote much of his stuff....You know Jack Nicholson would not have been to present his characters the way he did without some juice.

We don't seem to want to belittle or disqualify those achievements.

And If You Talk Back

I'm going to start reciting his Reds stats over the last 8 years. In a hitters park.

Let's put it this way---It probably ranks as the most stupendous waste of money in the history of sports in terms of signing an established talent.

No One Else In Baseball History

Has 400 homers and 400 steals........Bonds is 700 and 500.

If someone wants to chalk that up to some pills or injections, it's a free country--freedom of stupidity.
