Look real close at his body language and facial expressions--it's like "Good Lord, I must not have done it. I really am innocent"......He's way out there for sure. Probably more so now.

The Congress is republicans and democrats. And there are twice as many republican senators up in 2008 as dems.

Virginia with a strong possibility going all blue in the Senate? That Southern block starts cracking and it's check-mate for a long time. The GOP smells it, they are promoting crap like loser gets some of the electoral college votes in California.

While strikes are irritating in the other sports, it's not a disqualifier. Maybe that's prejudice, I don't know. But they were warned and they struck. Now they're not a sport.

Anyhow in his frantic defense he identified the media as the culprit. He was talking about the media, not McNabb or black quarterbacks. Not only that, the media misinterpreted his comments to the public.
This has become the default position of the right, from politics to sports. Larry Craig is blaming an Idaho newspaper as responsible for his guilty plea. You do or say whatever you want, no matter how preposterous, and when no rational outs remain----THE MEDIA.

I think you'll find with the right wing, until something smacks them or their wallet directly in the kisser, the light will be blocked. And many times even then remains blocked.
