Remember, the republicans chaired and controlled every congressional committee in both houses, from national security on down, and they spent the better part of two years that concluded with year old dry ejaculation on a dress. This took up the President's time, the Congress' time, the media's time, and the focus of the public. Not to mention the rest of the world either laughing or observing with amazement. All this as, in hindsight, Al-Qaida was sharpening it's claws.
If bin Laden and al-Zawahiri had been Clinton girlfriends, the GOP would have nabbed them way before 9-11.

This is a very simple psychiatric profile here. The right wing has been pounding this "the media" drum forever, whatever the hell "the media" is. The talk show loudmouths, the rank and file, the politicians. It took him a few days, but it finally dawned on the sucker--"HEY, THE MEDIA. My constituency might swallow that. I hear them talking that crap at all the local functions I go to. I talk it to them all the time in my speeches. Talk radio gives it to them daily. Let's give it a shot"
The media is leftist, leaning marxist. It's unAmerican and causes us to lose wars. It lies. It's our convenient whipping boy for anything we don't like.
Okay whatever, but we liberals draw the line in the sand here and now. The media is not responsible for your airport toilet activities and subsequent interrogation and legal decisions.
