  • Well

Gang bangs can alter the study. On that one given night the woman is promiscuous, but are the men?

It is simple bigotry to imply that most or all members of Salon use foul language and name-calling and I for one resent it.

    You conservative puke motherfucker you.

  • One Last Tiger Item

With the conclusion of the PGA Championship Tiger has played 11 full seasons on the PGA Tour (his first event was immediately following the PGA in 1996).

Tiger's First 11 Seasons: 59 total wins, 13 Majors (213 Total Events Played)

Jack Nicklaus' Best 11 Consecutive Season stretch of his entire career: 49 total wins, 11 Majors (236 Total Events Played)

I can make a case for hanging around those roving ice cream trucks with bells, and comfiscating some kid's cone.

  • Although I Suppose

If we were to continue the pre-emptive war/imperialism philosophy, we will eventually know everything there is to know about insurgencies.

  • There Could Be

A seperate marked section of Arlington Cemetery reserved for and dedicated to the brave souls lost to insurgencies.

  • My Favorite Part

[Read the article: Enforcing the community's foreign policy orthodoxy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is the outrage about Iran and Syria meddling in Iraq now. And maybe even Turkey at some point.

What the hell did they expect?

We've been intervening and meddling over here on our turf whenever we deemed it necessary---in South and Central America.

Now we can cross the globe and inject ourselves into Iraq, and the surrounding countries are supposed to back off.

    Is that you John Wayne?

When the Saddam statue was yanked down and we had that little air-craft carrier victory party, that the entirety of Middle Eastern Islam from moderate to extreme was thinking "Morons."

Let your fingers do the walkin',

    Call me up some time,

    I'm listed under broken hearts,

    Lookin' for a good time,

I can't reach out and touch you,

You hang up all the time,

    I'm a disconnected number now,

    And you're a private line.

  • Rizzuto

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Was short, he was a hustler, and played on championship teams. I'd say David Eckstein better start preparing his hall of fame acceptance speech.

Just at a cursory glance, Rizzuto's MVP season of 1950 was a sham as well. Berra and Dimaggio of the same team appear more qualified. That was probably one of those times where the voters were pretending to see something that no one else could see in terms of chemistry/character/value to winning, or some other such hooey.....or maybe the sportwriters were simply echoing the nonsense coming from the sentimental and cross-eyed fans. It's hard to tell where this kind of chorus of stupidity starts. Are you telling me if the 1950 season could be played again and the Yankee manager could keep Dimaggio or Rizzuto but not both, he'd keep Rizzuto?

On the announcing front, the "Holy Cow" may not have a legal patent or trademark, but it appears Rizzuto was parroting Harry Caray. That's weak.

    "The Intangibles"

  • 1/2 Price Offer Guys

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I have a side business where I will come and deliver eulogies. And as you can probably deduce by now, I won't sugarcoat it. In some cases that may be preferred by the survivors.

I think the aforementioned "intangibles" fits in nicely with the bias theme today. I've noticed that the more intangibles, the more likely an athlete is white. In fact in might go as far as total synonyms....intangible = white.

  • We Have These Players

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Who often do nothing that shows up in the box score, so we have to imagine things that don't show up in the box score. Intangibles. And even if they are real, the guys with a bunch of stuff in the box score every night, do that other stuff too.

  • I Can Only Say This

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If Bill James had to manage one seven game series against someone else, picking anyone in their prime from a draft pool to make the team, losing manager goes to the guillotine, and the two picks left were for the shortstop slot and it was Campy or Concepcion and Rizzuto, and he took Rizzuto, the totality of his baseball writings are worthless.

Or a moving video exists. I've only seen stills. The Rumsfeld-Saddam big smiles and handshake session in Baghdad in the 80's.

Gee, why does the Muslim world distrust us so?

The striking similarities between the impeachment and attempt to remove Clinton from office with this Iraq nonsense.

They just keep going and going headlong against public will and common sense, tossing crap against the walls hoping against hope something will stick, praying something will happen or something they say will turn the tide in their favor.

  • The Thing About Torture

    [Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is say you use the pliars, and the electric shock, and the billy club, and the dental drill and finally the guy says okay, we're blowing up such and such a building. So you go running there with the swat teams etc and nothing happens.

Then what? You go back and start torturing the guy again?

  • The Scores Are Frauds

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Anyhow. Like someone said earlier......A game, or a playoff series, can come down to whether one pitch around the plate was called a ball or a strike. And the fans of whatever team that wins strut around like Peacocks in heat, bragging and saying their team proved they were "the best."
