[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is his batting eye and stroke. He uses a light bat, even chokes up a bit, his swing is quick and compact, and he is very selective as to the pitches he offers at.
Other power hitters have long, windmill swings and many of them are not very picky about what they swing at. When their stroke goes, it goes very quickly usually around 38-40 years old. Their reactions and swing slow with age and they can't keep up with the fastballs anymore.
