So What Aaron Didn't Smoke.

But the trainers in his day handed out little "pep pills" like candy.

If you want to have a little pretend world of angels and devils that your choice.

Not To Mention

That Bonds had to deal with the era of speciality relief pitching, which Ruth and Aaron did not.

Throughout Bonds career most of his at bats from the 8th inning on have been against closers or set up men throwing gas.......Ruth and Aaron faced worn out starters, or chumps, or guys with injured arms but still pitching in many of those situations.

I Don't Think We Should

Sink to the simian depths of the republicans by impeaching when we know damn well there's nothing close to 67 votes in the Senate. Why drag the country through it?

Bonds Is Going To Be The Home Run King

And your crying and pouting and trolling until doomsday ain't gonna change it.

But If It Makes You Feel Any Better

In terms of being an all-around ballplayer, Bonds is more than double Aaron in stolen bases.

Tuesday, July 24, 2007 12:00 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

No Other Baseball Player

Has 400 homers and 400 steals..........Bonds has 700 and 500.

Tuesday, July 24, 2007 12:30 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

Aaron's Best Season

Was .327 batting average, .410 on base percentage, and .669 slugging..............Bonds was .362 batting, .609 on base, and .812 slugging.

That's a total mismatch.

Tuesday, July 24, 2007 12:35 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

.609 On Base and .812 Slugging

God couldn't hit like that.

Tuesday, July 24, 2007 12:41 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

Why Didn't The Other Guys Who Did Steroids

Have a .609 on base and an .812 slugging?

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 05:38 AM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

Good Lord

We Have a moron in our midst............75 percent of Bonds homers questionable? He had over half his homers before the steroid allegations, which began in 1999.

Bonds had 3 MVP awards pre-steroids and 7 total. Aaron had one total.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 05:46 AM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

Let Me Repeat

Bonds had 3 times as many MVP awards as Aaron, pre-steroids.

And That's With

The cement-head sportswriters hating his guts. He was so dominant the voters had to swallow their dislike of him.

Now Let Us Review

1993 For Bonds...pre-steroids........46 homers, 129 runs, 123 RBI, 29 steals, 126 walks, .336 batting average, .458 on base, .677 slugging.

That, overall, surpasses any of Aaron's individual seasons.

Whatever Vick May Have Done To Those Dogs

It absolutely pales in comparison to the abuse dished out to black humans in this country, particularly from the founding of America up through the 1960's.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 09:18 AM

Yeah Right

Let the white baptists have their 16 year old daughter come home pregnant by Tyrone of the high school basketball team.

I'm quite certain we'll see a sudden shade of gray appear, drowning out their previous rigid black and white.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 09:21 AM

By The Way

In recent interviews Larry Flynt has said he has the biggest surprise yet coming in terms of his relentless investigations and reporting on right wing private lives.

My money is on Brownback.

I'm Not Willfully Ignoring Anything

I just made the factual observation that hundreds of thousands of black humans in American history have been the recipient of more grotsque abuse than those dogs.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 09:55 AM

The Difference Being

That Vick has been charged and will stand trial for his crimes...........Two hundred years worth of abuse against black individuals either went without any charges at all, or genetic defective white juries refused to convict regardless of evidence.

If, hypothetically, Vick was to be found innocent by a black jury in the face of overwhelming evidence of guilt, or if the charges were dropped all-together that same thing has happened with regularity in American history the other way. With black human victims. Not dogs.

White America was outraged with the O.J. Simpson verdict. That kind of thing was commonplace against blacks in the old south in particular. In fact in many instances the klan and the police forces and prosecutors were one in the same.

How Many Iraqi Children?

Have died since our invasion and occupation? That's living, breathing out of the womb children.

How many Iraqi children equal one American fetus?

Of Message Board/blog burnout.

And One More Thing

Starting every one of your posts with quoting a previous post "so and so burped this" or "so and so barfed that" is geting a little old.

Try and be fresh and creative, not stale and redundant.

Now Scram Junior

You're out of your league.

Isn't It Funny

How quickly an eight year old can be assigned to the category of tragic but necessary "collateral damage", but some frozen stem cells submerged in liquid nitrogen, destined to be discarded, falls under the category of sanctity of life.

Bonds

Is the greatest all-around player of his generation by a mile, and the greatest of all time by a much closer margin.

However right in the midst of his domination Sosa and McGwire went to steroids, started whacking homers at a record clip and they got all the glory and publicity. Neither were close to Bonds in terms of being an all-around baseball talent. I can understand why that pissed Bonds off and he went to the juice.

As Far As Bonds

Being a prick..........The media and fans are such childish numbskulls, I'd be disappointed in him if he wasn't a prick.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 12:30 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

The Primary Reason For Bonds Longevity And Batting Records

Is his batting eye and stroke. He uses a light bat, even chokes up a bit, his swing is quick and compact, and he is very selective as to the pitches he offers at.

Other power hitters have long, windmill swings and many of them are not very picky about what they swing at. When their stroke goes, it goes very quickly usually around 38-40 years old. Their reactions and swing slow with age and they can't keep up with the fastballs anymore.

It's Unreal Really

Bonds spent much of his early career as a LEADOFF HITTER for God's sake........LOL.........And was one of the best. Then he was a clean-up hitter. And the best at that.

He stands alone.

Henderson

Is the closest. He may be within half a mile.

Thrasher

It's mostly just redneck hatred of the combination of blackness/arrogance/greatness.

Ali encountered the same.

THAT is what Bonds should do....become a black muslim and change his name.

The All Time American Home Run King

Muhammed Something..........LMAO

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 01:18 PM
Original article: When Barry passes Hank

In Fact

Bonds and Henderson may be one-two alltime-------If you built a time machine and sent those two back to the 1920s and 1930s and let them play, they would have ended up dead. The fans and other players never saw the likes of it and they could not have dealt with it.
