WRONG! Creationism is no "theory"!

If teaching creationism in schools is offensive to you, then don't teach that OR evolution. If you teach one, teach the other...and everything is fair.
To this day, I do NOT see what the problem is here. Each is a theory to the other so either teach them both as theories or don't teach either of them.
In fact, creationism is not a bona fide theory like evolution at all. A theory first of all has already made predictions that have been confirmed. In addition, it provides tests for its own falsification, see e.g.

Excerpt:
"Humans and chimpanzees have the exact same cytochrome c protein sequence. The "null hypothesis" given above is false. In the absence of common descent, the chance of this occurrence is conservatively less than 10-93 (1 out of 1093). Thus, the high degree of similarity in these proteins is a spectacular corroboration of the theory of common descent. Furthermore, human and chimpanzee cytochrome c proteins differ by ~10 amino acids from all other mammals. The chance of this occurring in the absence of a hereditary mechanism is less than 10-29. The yeast Candida krusei is one of the most distantly related eukaryotic organisms from humans. Candida has 51 amino acid differences from the human sequence. A conservative estimate of this probability is less than 10-25. "
Neither crude creationism or ID has, up to now, presented tests for falsification. Until they do, they are not doing any science- but promoting religion, or maybe some science -window dressed form of theology.
Falsification is where it's at. REAL science, biology, physics has it- pseudo-science does not, all "presuppositions" nothwithstanding. The evolutionist has gone on record with his falsfiication tests and "stuck his neck out'.
Because of those, and the rendering of the tests by actual researchers - we have recently found the bifurcation from a common ancestor to human was much more rapid than earlier believed. This is the outcome from a TEST - not a speculaiton.
If creationism is real science, then - WHERE are its falsification tests or criteria? What test or observation can I make that will show unequivocally it is wrong?
So, enough of this nonsense that creationism is on some scientific par with evolution. It isn't. It is pure unadulterated garbage and as we know "garbage in, garbage out".
You teach (or co-teach) that crap, and all you can expect is a generation of ignorant, scientifically illiterate and ass backward people - who will more than likely end up shining the shoes of Japanese and Chinese legions that will end up buying off, and owning this pathetic country.
When they aren't on bended knee, praying of course!

The gullible will always outnumber the elite

You could put all the atheist beliefs in a book together, but it will always be from man, never "dictated" from God or some other higher being (Bible, Koran, Book of Mormon, etc.)
Sorry, pallie, but the precise distinction of atheism is that it withholds belief or acceptance in that for which not a scintilla of evidence exists. This is also, of course, why atheists don't require some "book of belief" or "bible". We use our own brains and processes of inquiry to seek out the phenomena of the world, universe and parse it. We need no invisible "gods".
In the end, this process of scientific investigation and TEST exposes more about the universe than all your sad, puerile religious fairy tales and god-talk do.
Given that none of you god-mongers have defined what "God" is, far less put forth any necessary or sufficient conditions for its existence (contingent on the definition) then I am at liberty to say that your "faith" basis is no more compelling than my brother's speculations that alien experiments are being conducted at Area 51, or that a 22-dimensional essence is at the root of cosmic evolution.
You don't have any text or organization because you believe in NOTHING. Believers will ALWAYS reign over you and that makes you mad. Sorry guys.
No, we have no "text or organization" because we don't believe all must march in lockstep to a DOGMA. We believe in freedom of the mind, and the freedom to pursue inquiry, wherever it leads. The only texts needs are scientific monographs to dociument the discoveries, and show their confirmations.
Organizations aren't needed because we need no hierarchy to pass down what must be accepted. One esalates in our domain by the committment to sicentific excellence and doing terrific high QA work in some specific discipline, as opposed to weaving fairy tales and bunkum.
This will always mean the majority cannot be atheists, just as the majority cannot belong to Mensa, or Intertel. A certain tiny segment of the populace will always command the heights of intellect while the mass of folk will be below on the mental pyramid.
H.L. Mencken put it best:
"The inferior man's reasons for hating knowledge are not hard to discern. He hates it because it is complex. Because it puts an unbearable burden on his meager capacity for taking in ideas. Thus, his search is always for short cuts. Their aim is to make the unintelligible simple and even obvious.
The cosmogonies that educated men toy with are all inordinately complex. To comprehend their veriest outlines requires an immense stock of knowledge and a habit of thought. But the cosmogony of Genesis is so simple that even a yokel can grasp it. It is set forth in a few phrases. It offers, to an ignorant man, the irresistible reasonableness of the nonsensical".
