Mostly I hate being unable to see over or around all the big ass vehicles from the confines of my little Toyota (which gets 31mpg @80mph on cruise control w/ 3 people in the car) or worse, my scooter. I mean if you need a fat ass car you need a fat ass car. It's not a reason to kill yourself. When I go to Whole Foods what I see is mostly upper tier foreign sedans like Volvo, Benz, Infinity, Lexus. If driving a 400hp car that's still a car makes you feel good about yourself, have at it. In 1996 I bought a Honda Accord and the dealer wanted to push me into a Volvo Turbo Wagon. I don't need turbo to go to the grocery store.

The other problem is that Taxol is not water soluble and so has to be administered in a histamine solution. Patients are predosed with massive amounts of antihistamine to stave off allergic shock reactions which by themselves are often fatal. About 2% of patients go into shock anyway. Upping the concentration only makes those variables worse. Why? Because the drug and its suspension solution operate in fat differently than they do in other body tissues. Egypt essentially outsourced their Palestinian underclass problem when they pushed their Palestinians into Gaza and then abandoned them unasked and unqualified in December 1967. The several hundred thousand Palestinian 'refugees' some of whom moved there in the 1950's have never been allowed to even ask for Syrian citizenship. Likewise Palestinians arrived in Lebanon in 2 waves. One in the early 1960's: they have also never been allowed to request citizenship 2 or 3 generations in. The second wave was in 1970 after Yasser Arafat tried to overthrow the government of Jordan which resulted in a brief civil war, 30,000 causalities and expulsion from Jordan to Lebanon. These Palestinians many of whom were soldiers and their families have also never been allowed citizenship in Lebanon. Jordan is a special case which actually did offer citizenship to some Palestinians (Jordan is about 75% Palestinian anyway) but those people were convinced by the PLO to refuse the offer since it would take away from their 'struggle' to take over all of Israel. About 40,000 Palestinians were invited to Iraq by Saddam Hussein. He threw Iraqis out of their homes and jobs to give the Palestinians special status. After Saddam was gone, the local Iraqis had some payback and persecuted the hell out of them for taking over their lives and aligning themselves with Saddam. Similarly after the 1990-91 Iraq/Kuwaiti war, about 230,000 Palestinian guest workers and their families were immediately expelled from Kuwait for their loyalties to Saddam.

There is something broken in the culture of Palestinians to willfully make so many bad decisions one after the other. A student of Jared Diamond would call that the Easter Island Syndrome: A culture that willfully makes so many awful decisions that it goes extinct.

If you poke the bear (or monkey pig dogs as the Arabs often call the Jews) with a stick long enough, the bear is going to tear your face off.

When my Federal taxes go down, there's less money for the state and local governments who then raise their taxes. They also raise fees, tariffs and run the police department as a profit center. Local governments are also good at extorting money out of utilities like Time Warner cable. For example Cary, NC gets 15% of the billings from Time Warner. They call it an access fee but it's pretty much a bribe. If Federal taxes go down, Time Warner raises their rates and the city gets a bigger cut.

Israel left Gaza 3 years ago and gave them approximately 6,800 chances (the number of rockets and mortars fired into Israel since) to kiss and make up. Not only that but the Hamas shelled the very powerplant that Israel uses to deliver 65% of the electricity to Gaza, for free and then whines that it's a war crime when the lights go out because they damaged the very same power plant.

In the meantime Hamas has murdered hundreds of their fellow Palestinians in back alley political violence and plain old thuggery. Salon is just pissed off that they didn't manage to kill more Jews. Again, that's the nature of bigotry.

So have at it, bigots. You are irredeemable.
