I don't believe that is true. I believe that organizations created to benefit one gender do not necessarily care about injustice to the other. That is why we need a real men's movement. For instance, as women begin to dominate higher education, and calls for helping boys out began to surface, the American Association of University Women didn't chime in on how to help boys, but instead conducted advocacy research to blunt the obvious, which is boys are failing. They did this as an advocacy group for women. If there is no counterweight advocating for men, or boys, or whatever, then truth can be squelched for political, or gender real politic reasons.

Any organization that is to benefit boys and men, needs to do so by embracing the types of action and activism that those constituence prefer. Death by committee type organizations are best left to those that like to talk about things, where as men's movement organizations should start to recruit men from the military, business schools, athletics, and attorneys. It should be able to meld a combat like attitude, with issues that inspire action.

That's why we need a coherent, sophisticated, and threatening men's movement. I may start another website. We should organize. How about, "The Men's Militant Congress." We should make sure that any representative that ignores true equality, instead of the crap we are being served now, regrets it.
