@Jen Gaboury

All this "concern" for the whores is baloney. You do realize that, don't you? You notice the only real concern is about women who service straight men. Noone is trying to rescue gay hustlers, or tranny whores.

As I've written before, and I'll repeat again:

"...women view sex (either intellectually or instinctively) as their one true power, and it is cheapened if it is easy to attain. Like an economists ramblings, supply and demand. If there is over supply, then the price goes down. This is why prostitution is so reviled by many women. It is a threat to women’s sexual power. This is why you see a disproportionate number of prostitutes that are lesbians. They don't give a fuck about using their sexual power on men.

I don't believe that sex is a woman's only power. But I believe that women believe it is their fundamental power, until they reach middle age anyway. Women's real power comes from their ability to define accepted morality, communicate and advocate the same, and bring into the fold the few powerful men in society to enforce that view. The queen bee and wannabe behaviors are also instrumental. The ostracism of people for behaviors not deemed acceptable (like prostitution which is vilified well beyond its importance).

Like porn...noone really cares what the gay guys watch, or the lesbians for that matter. When porn is attacked, it is straight porn that is vilified, for the very same reasons I mention above.

But since attacking prostitution or porn for the reasons I just stated, there are these phoney arguments about public policy, and protecting the women. That way we can legitimize bringing in the power of government to prosecute and shame the two conscenting adults who dared engage in such behavior. At the same time, they can feel sanctimonious while at the same time serving their self interests.

Goddam I wish there was an edit option.

Screw it. I'm going back to reddit.com.

@Mifterfmif

Your comment had me actually read it. Usually, I just scan over MMM and Brightstar's comments...looking for any reason to read it. But, usually, I just skip over the post. In any event, I didn't see anything in MerelyMortalMale's post that would warrant a "flag."

I say, let's be fair.

I think men should be allowed to show their hairy chests, and their Italian horn necklaces. Furthermore, They should be able to come in in spandex bicycle shorts.

Tiller Child Killer

I'm against the death penalty, in theory. But, you can always show me a case where I'd have no objection. I won't shed a tear for the good doctor. Any man that can abort a 28 week old fetus, and have the moxie to offer funeral services for the murdered child, won't elicit sympathy for me.

Exactly. The situation is a no brainer.

Here is what a late term abortion looks like:

Don't worry guys. It's not really a baby. It's just a "fetus."

@marc22309

You can continue with the ad hominem's, but you you are not intimidating anyone.

Why not be honest. 50% if abortions are done for women who've had a prior abortion. Late term abortions are agonizing for the fetus, sometimes having them ripped out limb from limb after they've been torchered with a saline soluntion. Furthermore, no anesthetic for the child are given. Twisted.

"I hope to God you never find yourself in a hopeless situation like so many women have had to suffer through – because you’d apparently torture your own baby to suit your politics."

Did Dr. Tiller only abort deformed children? Or did he abort children because the mother was "depressed?"

I do have a child. He is eight years old. He was born at thirty weeks, or 10 weeks premature. He weight 3.4 ounces, and stayed 6 weeks in the NICU. He has cerebral palsy. He also was born with a vascular birth mark called a hemangioma right in the middle of his forehead.

Can't say that I wish I had him aborted, looking back.

"Your disdain for those who are not in the same position does not diminish the need for abortion to remain legal for those who are."

In re me "changing minds." Polls have indicated that up to 72% of Americans are agaist late term abortions. I'm not in the minority. You are. The reason being is that late term abortions are so horrendous, that it shocks the conscience of good citizens everywhere.

Let's see how the debate is going so far.

The "...reason nobody likes [me] is because [I am] such a judgemental unysmpathetic person." --marc22309

"Magdelyn - how stupid are you?...Stupid much? Can you find your way out of a paper bag?" --marc22309

[Actually marc, I'm smart enough not to get trapped in paper bags.]

trudy b. wonders if I am a "psychotic [liar]..."

@magdelyn

You're probably a liar, and certainly a horrible person, and I pity any animal, let alone a child raise by you.

-- marc22309

Hmmm. Par for the course. I used to thing that only the religious right stuped so low.
