Having gay sex doesn't make you gay.

Getting sex from homosexual men is much easier than getting it from women. Let's face facts, at least 1 in 10 straight men admit to having had a sexual encounter with another man. This doesn't mean they get sexually excited by the thought of a man's hairy ass, or that bathrooms or showers or gloryholes are better alternatives to vaginas. Just easier.

Although every gay man I've ever met assumes that most straight men are really just suppressed homosexuals, it's obviously just a fantasy.

In any event, assuming the supposition is true, that there are scores of gay people posing as conservatives, I would argue that it does not reflect poorly on conservatives, but instead it could be argued that homosexuals misrepresent who they are to get into power. In other words, this would support conservative mistrust of the "homosexual agenda." So pilloring Craig, or others, for being hypocrits is probably counter productive.

@Brightstar

That was a freakin' hilarious post. Sometimes your genius shines through you crummudgeon'y.

@rammyh

"...if your dick responds positively to something, then you're into that something - otherwise your dick doesn't respond..."

I don't know, my friend. Guys often wake up with "morning wood." Doesn't mean anything. Mastubation, i.e. self gratification doesn't mean you are attracted to yourself. Testosterone get's a dick up, for any reason, or no reason at all. Washington D.C. is filled with high testosterone guys, some rich women who's husband's money got them elected, and the women and gays that work for them.

As I've said in other posts, if you elect alpha-males to office, expect they are going to fuck around. I don't hold it against them. I've had plenty of experiences with married guys...that doesn't make them gay.

Obama Silent?

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman."

She's not a train wreck...

she's just a relatively unsophisticated young woman, who was asked a crappy question by a revolting queen, and was uppity enough to give her best answer. For that, the velvet mafia has attempted to crucify her. She comes off much more sympathetic to many more Americans than the fruit-loops who hurl thw word "bigot" around.

BTW

If you don't like pagaents. Don't watch them. I don't. Pagaents are like the Oscars. A show for women and gay guys. That is why you had "Perez Hilton" there in the first place.

Esquire

is a gay man's magazine. I don't think they are really all that concerned about women of loose morals.

WARNING! Don't piss off the velvet mafia.

They are a vengeful lot, apparently.

She's 18 years old...

...and the subject of revolting vitriol all because a self described "queen," who's only claim to fame is drawing ejaculating penises on stolen photographs of celebrities, and knowing that she was a practicing Christian (of a fundamentalist strain), asked her to sabotage her chances of winning Miss USA...probably because he didn't like the fact that she was Christian.

The truth of the matter is, is that she is a relatively unsophisticated woman, for no other reason but the fact that she is eighteen years old. She gave the best answer she could, under the circumstances.

This whole thing reminds me of reality T.V. shows like America's Top Model, or Dallas Cheerleaders: Making the Team. What these shows do is allow people, who are pissed off at the pretty girls, to humiliate young, unsophisticated women by putting them in impossible situations. When they inevitably fail, you can denigrate them to a point where it becomes psychological rape. It is an act of violence. In essence, my point is that those who attack her are basically raping this girl. The horrendous part is, is the rapists are self-satisfied for having done so.

And since it is women and gay guys that watch these shows, it's not the patriarchy doing it.

excommunication?

"If you had one hundred sheep, and one of them strayed away and was lost in the wilderness, wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine others to go and search for the lost one until you found it? And then you would joyfully carry it home on your shoulders. When you arrived, you would call together your friends and neighbors to rejoice with you because your lost sheep was found. In the same way, heaven will be happier over one lost sinner who returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!" (NLT, Luke 15:3-7)

Who's Surprised?

There's been a full court press against whores from the left, that has conjured up or magnified the dangers of prostitution in any circumstance. That's why you hear so much about "trafficking" in the U.S. (see http://www.newstatesman.com/books/2008/03/sex-women-trafficking-agustin).

I don't understand this "Abandon Ship" mentality Salon has.

Marriage really does seem to be a weak institution. I, for one, would back up my spouse against the world. I thought that's what spouses for for. To have somebody in your corner. I wouldn't want the writer's at Salon backing me up in a difficult situation. They are cut and runners. Or as we used to call people like that...cowards.

Seems to me, when some broad get's knocked through an affair, the people here want the guy to stay around to take up paternal responsibilities for the child fathered by somebody else. Rather inconsistent.

Can Obama Walk on Water?

Doubtful.

Friday, May 15, 2009 12:08 PM

Wow! These are some interesting facts.

• Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion.

• Each year, about two percent of women aged 15-44 have an abortion; 47% of them have had at least one previous abortion.

• Women who have never married obtain two-thirds of all abortions.

It would have been cool...

if, instead of writing, "tough luck ladies" you wrote, "tough titty (or is it tittie) ladies"

Just thought I'd contribute.
