Death From Above

They've been fighting the same war for 3400 years. I say, let them kill each other. I'm sick of our political system being usurped, and our future bankrupted for the foreign policy pipe dreams of the treasonist ideologues.

Original article: The economy crumbled

please....anything

to stop the ayn randists and free-marketeers from jabbing their jibs about evil government. first the emasculate the SEC, then fill it with the "greed is good" crowd, then blame the agency for oversight failure. it's enough to make you vomit. freakin hypocrits and liars.

Now Class Is Okay to Talk About

Right here on this board, i.e. broadsheet, a while back, I wrote a post that said I agree with Palin, when she said that her parents didn't had her a backpack and pay for a trip to Europe, as a legitimate statement. That is, upper middle class kids have a lot of opportunities that working class kids, i.e. me, never had.

The venom from the posters here was amazing. But it is all too clear now that Kennedy will be appointed to her peerage in the House of Lords (i.e. the Senate) where she can dabble doing the "charitable" work of the U.S. Senate. This after a long career of....what do you call unemployment when your so rich that you can afford not to have a job?

Revolting.

Yay for our side.

Original article: Anorexia as art

I was going to say...

there is no way that picture is real. It turns out, as the author states, it isn't. I was pro-ana once. Never pro-mia. But, my discipline has waned.

Original article: For richer or poorer?

Paul should leave you.

You obviously don't deserve him.

Original article: Rosies of the recession

These articles seem to suggest obliqely...

that marriage sux. who wants to put up with someone who, the going gets rough, get going?

The one good thing about these women leaving now is that under NY's equitable distribution law, the lowered wages of the gentlemen will be factored into the marriage settlement.

If he pulls don't ask don't tell...

The Charge: Narcissism

Don't worry about the charge of narcissism. It is definitely maddening. J. Michael Bailey's slanderous book about male to female transgenderism makes the same charge against we trannys. He charge is even worse. That we are either gay men seeking lots of sex, or mental cases who are turned on by wanting to sleep with ourselves. Narcissism is a cheap and easy way to describe processes and motivations that are too complex for simple minded, self righteous explanations.

As for women watching gay porn, I have heard that billions of times before, and still don't understand it.

Yeah, yeah...

and more women get abused during the super-bowl than at any other time. bullshit . If you don't like it, don't watch it. Why "progressives" hate the super-bowl is beyond me. One freakin day out of the year, and everybody's panties get in a bunch. Next time, just go hang with Michael Kimmel and do yoga, or drink herbal tea.

Original article: Are men necessary?

I'd be very careful...

about deeming anyone unnecessary. Particularly men. For, as history has demonstrated, a great deal of death and destruction may follow from having too many young men leaning against the wall. Men will create the circumstances to make themselves necessary. When that happens, you can kiss all the bullshit you think so important goodbye. Like when I interviewed a victim of an assault once. She said, "They done it cause I got no man. If I had a man, they wouldn't have jumped me."

I still have a job

And I get money for Domming guys. I don't do it buy the hour though. I have them sign a monthly "servant" contract that requires monthly "tribute" on top of other dominatrix related gifts and services.

Original article: Sex with the Obamas

Maybe Ayn Rand was right.

"For a woman qua woman, the essence of femininity is hero-worship—the desire to look up to man."

Original article: "Please don't divorce us"

Cry?

What ever the merits of the ad, it didn't make me cry.

Monday, February 9, 2009 11:57 AM

Loyalty Oath, huh.

Maybe we should have a similar one in the U.S. for the neo-cons. What say you Kristol, Feith, Brooks, Wolfowitz, Podhoretz, Sen. Lieberman, Perle and all their money men in New York?

Friday, February 27, 2009 11:03 PM

Damn!

I thought this article was about wall streeters becoming street walkers. But, no. It's just another conspiracy theory.

Original article: A crush on Rush?

The headline...

I assume the headline was used purposefully to renew the whisper campaign that McConnell is a closeted homosexual.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009 02:23 PM

I don't know...

I thought the microwave/crockpot analogy was pretty good.

Politically Correct Marriage

Vomit.

Glenn Beck...

the doughy, pasty dude? He has a following? Unbelievable. What is happening in America? He needs to get off his ass and go to a gym.

Original article: Double dutch bust

Title IX is not just a sports statute.

When the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Education becomes interested in enforcing Title IX (a gender neutral statute) to help against the discrimination faced by boys in education resulting in a now nearly 60/40 split in college attendance and graduation rates favoring girls, Double Dutch may cross my radar.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 11:38 AM
Original article: Widows' talk

Noone should make the decision

The American people should have to face the consequences of their decision to wage and unjust war. That means that the corporate media should stop filtering out or cleaning up images of the results of war, including exploded heads, babies torn apart, children with arms and legs blown off and all the rest of it. You paid for it. You look at it.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 12:26 PM

And You're Surprised?

At least they are not stoning them to death like they do homosexuals in Iran. BTW, now that we know what the forth sex is, what is the third sex?

Thursday, March 19, 2009 10:31 AM

If I were he, I wouldn't have called the poice.

I think him less of a man, not for fucking other women (which I think the great majority of men do anyway), but for having called the police. Just the way I feel.
