Opponents of Prop. K are Lying

I am an auxilliary member of the erotic services providers union, who's founder Maxine Doogan, is the proponent of Prop. K. Maxine wrote the ballot measure, and I edited it into the form in pretty much now appears. I also formated the petitions that were used to gather the over 12,000 signatures of supporters of Prop. K.

Prop. K has been endorsed by the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC), the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club, the San Francisco Guardian, The San Francisco Bike Messenger Association, The Coalition for Labor Union Women, The Green Party of San Francisco, The Libertarian Party of San Francisco, and The STD Controller Association of California.

Prop. K would do nothing to prevent the investigation and prosecution of trafficking cases. In fact, I propose that the San Francisco District Attorney, Kamala Karris, actually do some investigations into trafficking, and start prosecuting rapes, assaults, and other crimes against sex workers. Instead, what she does is profit the D.A.'s office and her non-profit cronies through SAGE's First Offender Program.

"Selling is Legal. Fucking is Legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal?"

Canuckistan Bob's arguments that selling sex is okay, but buying is sinful is silly. Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics. As George Carlin said after the Spitzer scandal:

"Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal?...

He goes on to say, "...You know, why should it be illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away. I can't follow the logic on that at all. Of all the things you can do to a person, giving someone an orgasm is hardly the worst thing in the world. In the army they give you a medal for spraying napalm on people. Civilian life, you go to jail for giving someone an orgasm."

Hey Canuckistan Bob

Bought any clothes lately? Who do you think are making those cheap garmets you're picking up at Wal-Mat? What we should do is close down the malls, arrest all women dressted in haute couture because all those blood-diamond wanting women are also exploiting asian children by spending excessively on clothes made by slave labor.

The faux concern for the sex worker is belied by the fact that few have shed tears for Brandy Britton, the former professor who became a prostitute and committed suicide when she faced arrest. She lived in a $600,000 home. No...this has little to do with concern for the women involved in prostitution.

It's pure hypocracy.

In re children and prostitution, its already illegal, and Ms. Harris has prosecuted it. Prop. K does nothing to stop it. All loitering laws, child welfare laws, child labor laws are enforceable.

Prop. K lets sex workers control there own labor and economy without fear of arrest. That's want pisses people off.

As I've written before, the anti-prostitution types don't really care about the exploitation factor. "...The suppression of sexuality is based on female, not male ethos. This is why prostitution is so reviled by many women (obviously not the prostitutes). It is a threat to women’s sexual power. This is why you see a disproportionate number of prostitutes that are lesbians. They don't give a fuck about sexual power of men....prostitution which is vilified well beyond its importance."

Original article: Spitzer gets off

I am generally against either...

Johns or Prossys getting busted. But even I, from my masculinist perspective, have to say that this is outrageous and an terrible injustice. Two people have committed suicide because they were federally charged and/or convicted of being prostitutes (or a madam.) This is outrageous. This is so obviously unfair that it warrants political action. This is the sexism, plain and simple.

Tell him.

He has a right to know. The Materalistic advice in this piece is that "you make actually be hurting him." Baloney. The real point of the piece is to make sure she is not held accountable for her actions. If she fucked you over, you can both seek revenge and do the right thing by giving her up to her husband. Who the hell wants a promiscuous mother in the household anyway?

In the tranny world...

gender is not a biological state, but a "deeply held belief" that one belongs to a particular gender. Otherwise, this post would have to read:

Bearded Lady Preggers Again

My understanding is that you have to stop taking T.

When does a premarital lie count?

I don't know the in's and out's of French civil law. Nor do I think that virginity confers some moral high ground. But if it is the case that the wife was dishonest about an aspect of her culture that even she acknowledges is important to her culture, why is that unimportant? Does a divorcee get financial benefits that a person receiving an annulment would not be entitled to? Does he have to support her, pay her money...blah blah blah? I think it the issue may be a more important than the tone of this article suggests.
