As I was reading this I thought of that great scene in Mr. Mom where Teri Garr, who has had to go back to work after years as a "homemaker" and is asked to come up with an ad campaign for tuna fish. Instead of something glitzy and meaningless, she develops a campaign to speak to the cash-strapped family out there, saying the company will cut its prices for the short run in these "tough times" and that they will all get through it together. As the male ad associates mock her ridiculously naive idea, the owner of the company, with a tear in his eye, loves it and decided to do it. For the working class, for America, for the good of the future -- go tuna! Um, yeah, got a little carried away. And yes, it's fiction of course.
